It's fucking shit whatever it was. That win puts the bin dippers up into 7th, a draw would've kept us in 7th with that bunch of permavictims sitting 2pts below us.

Well if it was us,we'd be estatic,last min ect even though it was never a pen IMO. The fact is though,Palace will always have the last laugh,the 3-3 game and Slippy's last game at home against them...all the media hype surrounding it and look what happened. At least Benturkey paid a bit off that 32+million price tag today  |

Delaney dived in and then tried to pull out of the challenge but his knee followed through and caught Benteke. A clear foul.

If it was Adebayor who had gone down in identical circumstances, and then scored the winner for Palace, Pardew would have been happy with that. It might have been funny to have seen how Klopp might have reacted, though.

Thought it was a stupid tackle to make. He's quite clearly made contact with him. Gone down easy but why would you dive in like that in the last minute?
If someone did that against us I'd be adamant it was a penalty.

Be it playing any team sport ever.

The same carragher who questioned bojan after we got that penalty at Swansea. A penalty where not one manager or player complained!! Carragher a biased twat, I hate this right to go down business. Pardew is right palace wouldn't have got that. Anybody who even says 'right to go down' should be done for bringing the game into disrepute. |

I'm not in favour of censorship in any form I don't think it achieves anything. I think it's ridiculous that managers get punished for criticising a referees performance and actually think ref's should have to do a press conference after the game where their decisions are scrutinised and they get a chance to justify them. I'd have the utmost respect for a ref that came on and said hands up I got that one wrong but this is how I saw it in real time. I love the Hawkeye in cricket and tennis it shows people make genuine mistakes and also shows what a lot of brilliant decisions umpires etc make. Nobody's perfect ref's need to be able to consult video footage to help them make even more good decisions. |

This is THE opportunity the FA have been waiting for. At the start of the season they promised 3 game retrospective bans for cheats. He didn't cheat though, he had his heel clipped when running at full speed, if that happens you fall over, watch any running race when it happens. |

Whether Benteke was touched or not, does that automatically make it a foul, the defender was clearly trying to pull out of the tackle, it's Bentekes outstretched foot that makes contact with the defender. At that rate any contact at all would be a foul. You surely have to look at the perceived intention.
