Spot on,
Week in, week out these sort of decisions tarnish the game, "the right to go down" is complete and utter horse shit, they're nothing but fucking cheats fooling the ref and his assistants.
Bring on VAR

He's completely right.
But I find it very funny. Pardew and pressure do not mix.

Only just seen the decision but that is a joke.
6'3" and 15 stone and that takes him down. Diving bastard.
No-one in the press calling him a cheat though eh?

The same carragher who questioned bojan after we got that penalty at Swansea. A penalty where not one manager or player complained!!
Carragher a biased twat, I hate this right to go down business. Pardew is right palace wouldn't have got that.

He correct with the ease in which Benteke went down but more importantly it's great to hear a manager say it as it is in regards to big club bias and he is right that it would not have been given if it was at the other end. Not a chance the officials would feel comfortable in awarding a penalty in the dying seconds knowing it would cost Liverpool the game. The influence the big clubs have on big decisions is almost as frustrating as players believing it is ok to try and win game through cheating.

He got the penalties v us 2 seasons on the bounce and the Bolasie one last season was embarrassing
I think he's got selective memory

I'd have been a damn sight more angry than that, if the penalty had been awarded against us. Absolute dive. Ref saw it and gave the goal kick and the linesman gets him to change his mind. Absolute joke penalty. Just shows the inconsistency, Muniesa gets away with the "push" on Oscar and Benteke gets a penalty for that? Ridiculous. And to make it worse Carragher says definite penalty. Bet he wouldn't have said that if it had gone against Liverpool. Bring in the video referee NOW.

This is THE opportunity the FA have been waiting for.
At the start of the season they promised 3 game retrospective bans for cheats.

Calgary. Please tell blurtonian. It was never a penalty. He doesn't seem to understand the significance! They have now gone above us because of that terrible decision!

This is THE opportunity the FA have been waiting for. At the start of the season they promised 3 game retrospective bans for cheats. The problem is that there was contact so it is very difficult to call someone a cheat under those circumstances. He didn't pre-empt the contact (aka Kane, Vardy & the Palace front three), he did not go down before he was touched. He was travelling at speed and his leg was tapped. Whether the contact was enough for him to go down is debatable. I can't see how anyone can have a go at Benteke with certainty that the contact was not enough to knock him out of his stride. If there was no contact then fill yer boots up. I am not a supporter of this 'right to go down' shite thinking. That to me is bollocks and should be challenged in the strongest terms by broadcasters when their pundits spout such shite! What I think the lino could have done was apply a bit of analytical thinking. The challenge and contact was barely noticeable, the ball was running out of play. Under those circumstances was it fair to give Liverpool a free shot at goal? I don't think so.

All my life Liverpool have always got more dodgy penalties given to them than anyone. A couple of years ago they nearly won the title purely because of all the shit penalties given to them
