I find it funny the club are now using the pointless hashtag #FillTheBrit in news story's about tickets for Sunderland. Completely missed the point at how Orlando City did it. They had groups of people selling tickets in major shopping centres and conurbations around Orlando getting enthusiastic people getting them to sign up. They ran a campaign with a clear, well thought out and well advertised goal.
We need to start a #FillTheCorner campaign. And the club need to start a waiting list for people who want groups of season tickets together. People give a £50 deposit. If we get the 1800 by a certain time the club build the corner.
I know people say it's more complicated than that, but it would be a good start. The club need to be proactive in this it won't just happen

a bit like Luton town are we then ? look a the catchment on a map is Stoke on Trent a series of villages or, an urban connurbation consisting of hundreds of thousands of people ? Is Stoke on Trent even a city at ALL ? (doesnt seem to behave like it) with, a catchment 30 miles wide and some 50 miles long ? free of other premier league clubs ? and - how many clubs do West Ham compete against in London ? (we got one - and they are a fucking pub team that cant pay its bills)
mind you - dont increase capacity - we are happy as we are ! happy to be mediocre - happy not to strive for bigger - better!! is this as good as it gets ? (very sad if it is) In no other business would the owners get away with providing such shoddy unfit for purpose facilities, football clubs prey on the fact that we are FANS and it is our club for life. If they were any kind of service provider they would have gone out of business long ago, every aspect of the stadium's facilities from it's ugly, dirty, unfinished appearance down to the ridiculous toilet facilities are an absolute insult to it's loyal paying CUSTOMERS. If the facilities and appearance are not bad enough the very design of the stadium and the fact that it is on a windswept hillside conspire to turn a good percentage of the games into a joke making us the butt of every other Premiership club's fans. In short the stadium is an absolute embarrassment and possibly one of the worse in the world's wealthiest league, what a negative worldwide advert for Stoke-on-Trent.

I don't find them an insult, and nor am I embarrassed by the stadium, I think you're going a bit over the top.

Fuck you, spending £100m on the team and giving us the best side we've had for 40 years. I went to the toilet last home game and we'd run out of paper towels. It's a disgrace.

The Brit is another example of getting what you pay for and it certainly has got 'old' very quickly. The 'corner filling' debate I can take or leave but if we are interested in spreading the word and giving more people the chance to live the experience we really should have made a start on it by now - the arguement of a few empty seats at certain games ruining the atmosphere is utter tosh. However there is absolutely no excuse for the club having done nothing about at least providing some sort of wind-break to make watching a game from the Q-Railing stand a bit less of an ordeal. It's basic customer service to those customers being asked to pay the highest prices in the ground that the match day experience is not tainted by the wind chill factor taking temperatures below zero every bloody week!! If you want people to shell out at least get the basics sorted.
