I sincerely hope not. He is a bit of a wanker let's be honest. I don't think he ever made the transition from five a side.

Can anyone name an individual in the squad that can create excitement when he gets it? The last player we had who could do that was Ric and that's why he had so many fans. Not for standing in the box and pouncing on chances, but for creating a sense of excitement when he got the ball as if anything could happen. I would love to see an exciting player again and Taarabt certainly is one.

In a different league to anything we've got atm when he's got his head screwed on! Hopefully relegation has showed him how quickly it can go balls up and he gets his head down! Could be at a top 4 club by now if he'd of kept his head down imo. I agree, but he will never show his full potential due to his clown-like-tendancies on the field.

I really don't like the thought of Taarabt. He was great in the championship but his fancy-dan stuff didn't prove useful in he Premiership, and now he's been sent home from pre-season camp. Perhaps he's just one of those players that is too good for championship but not good enough for Premiership. I'd prefer a different play-maker to be honest. And as a squad player give me Walters any day.

Jesus wept, he is absolute fucking shite. Why do people want him here? He's a greedy bastard who either blasts it high and wide or loses it because he never passes to any of his team mates.

If we are even half serious about upping the raw skill level on the field then Taarabt is as talented a talisman as we are ever likely to see at this football club.
Whether that equates to better outcomes I don't know but he has the capacity to be a real fans favourite, no doubt about that.

He's just a lazy john Walters Oh yeah Harry, Walters does shit like this all the time ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/kwfoKwtHI0jglJZ4qZf6.gif) There's a world class player in there somewhere and I'd love to take the gamble and see if we can bring him out. He may finally mature when he's too old to play but it'd be fun to watch whatever happens. Football will always be about entertainment for me and he's box office at our level.

Spot on I know he has his downsides but he has flair played in the right position and coached well and he could be great for us.

Dont know what to think of Taarabt at times. Undoubted ability we lack in pretty much all area's of the park but a complete tool.
Maybe a move out of London might do him some good, a la Bentley when Hughes took him to Blackburn.

On his day he's a match winner, any other time he is a liability, he is inconsistent at best. Not for me.

I don't find players who piss around with the ball in good positions and cost my team more points than they earn entertaining but each to their own.

"Adel Taarabt was seen sprinting away in his QPR tracksuit after storming out of Craven Cottage as his team were humiliated 6-0 at Fulham." Is that a player any of us really want at stoke?

A 4.5 minute highlights of Walters and we'd see more goals, including a solo effort v chelsea from the halfway line and two great goals in a cup semi final. This lads a poor mans tuncay

He'd be a good option to come off the bench when we're in need of a goal but I wouldn't want him starting every week.....he has some ability but he's no world beater and he thinks he's better than he is which is a real problem for any footballer

Taarabt possesses more raw talent and ability than all our current midfielders put together .....It's not in doubt....It's simply a case of nurturing and extracting it.
The downside is his errant ways and application...or attitude.
He's a player that could make us ,or break us. It depends what turns up on the day.
If Hughes could tame this beast , then we have our new Alan Hudson.....potentially better infact.
Do I like him....?
No....But I'm not blinkered either.

Such is the exposure to Whelan, Whitehead, Walters etc And TPs play everyone seems scared of having players with flair. We just have to make sure we get the right balance.
