The kids hospital was hit by an air defence system I think. Still terrible of course and praying for a peaceful resolution sooner rather than later. Imagine how we'd feel if Russia bombed Great Ormond Street, and then we saw bloodied surviving kids being stabilised outside the wreckage - that's what Den's going through. Then imagine how it'd feel living this for years. You recognise a russian Kh-101 from the videos, but russian lies say it's your own AIM-120 or a PAC-3 air defence missile. Not only is it really obviously not those from looking at it, but their tiny warheads (20 kg and 8 kg) couldn't flatten a hospital. The russian Kh-101 warhead - 450 kg as standard - is what did it. It's a very accurate missile so russians almost certainly did it on purpose. They often blame Ukraine when they murder civilians too. Like when the russian Buk shot down the Malaysia Airlines flight and murdered hundreds. It must be really painful for Denys and Ukrainians to be begging for help and seeing how effective russian propaganda has been 😢 Bellingcat investigation on the missile - you're absolutely right to be skeptical about the propaganda but whoever reported it was a Ukrainian missile doesnt know shit. You don't need to do the 'imagine if... ' line because I already have many friends on both sides of this conflict. I'm just really upset that russians keep murdering Ukrainians and bombing the shit out of their country just because Ukrainians want to be free. Also I find it really important to ignore the lies of war criminals. Wherever you read about it being a Ukrainian missile - clearly they don't know what they're talking about. Even if by accident, they pushed the same lies that russian propaganda is doing and for me that's a huge mistake. |

And here in the US, Trump is pushing this "quick" resolution to the conflict. I'm embarrassed by both the parties in the US, neither of which I'd trust to walk my dog. But at least the Democrats have stood up for Ukraine, the Republicans are all about some kind of forced "compromise" which ends with Ukraine giving up territory to their buddy (And business partner) Putin. It's sickening because there are others swallowing this propaganda and thinking that it's some sort of answer to bring "peace." There is no peace with Putin around. It's just like paying a ransom for a ransomware attack - let's just reward the criminal behavior.
Ukraine doesn't need to give up a damned inch of territory. They are a sovereign country with the right to exist. Who attacked who? Who is lobbing KH-101's at schools, hospitals and private homes?
I have no time for people sympathizing with Russia/Putin.
If I had the ability to be in the wrong place at the right time, would gleefully shoot the son of a b*tch myself.
He's victimizing and killing Russian people, the Ukrainian people and people from around the world trying to lend humanitarian aid.
He's enslaving Russian citizens and sending them into "meat assaults" unarmed/untrained.
He's nothing but a mafia chief and a war criminal.
Sorry, not trying to hijack the thread, but not everyone out here is as naive as the press seems to think we are.

Well said Sir, russia spews out 600,000 disinformation posts on social media every week. The propaganda is working on many people and they were heavily involved in our brexit media comments, pretending to be disaffected brits, ramping up immigration ire. Main media such as the BBC do a poor job on this horrific war, and it falls out of view along the news reel, as people are losing interest, clicks mean money. If you are interested in accurate news and examination of events,In Ukraine, the two best sources I have found are on Youtube: 'ATP Geopolitics', a British philosopher who is a mightily impressive human, and 'Jake Broe' who is an ex US nuclear Missileer. Those two will have you covered. |

The only way to end this war is to back Ukraine to the nines and beat russia convincingly, it probably wont happen militarily in one big wave, but russia will collapse financially, like they did before. Being scared of world war 3 is exactly what Putin wants from the west, you dont appease terrorism, you have to end it. |

He'll sort all the delivery etc, but I get the feeling he doesn't love spending too much time on the internet so he asked me to post. It's here if anyone wants to chip in and help Den & his family out. |

The plan is to send it out on a convoy next week, and he had a great idea for a whip around so that Stokies could show support for Den. Do some real good and be a morale boost. |

Hi folks,just an update on the powerpack for Denys.,,,,it was delivered to us ready to go on the convoy today.BUT as things transpired the ulez scheme organizers that we were involved with for this trip somehow lost the paperwork that enabled us to take the vehicles out of the uk .!!!  ,its a small blessing in disguise as it turned out Den would be out of town next week.,,Anyway,all is not lost,we have a couple of options to explore,we have our own independent trip going to UA in a few weeks and we have an artic arriving toward the end of august that we are filling with aid .we will decide which is the best option to put the powerpack on when final details of our routing are complete.ONCE AGAIN A BIG THANKS TO MRSTUDENT AND EVEYONE FOR THEIR DONATIONS.....PS,i spoke with Denys yesterday and he is overwhelmed and very grateful for the support you are all sending....i will keep you all posted as we move on. |

Friends... It is really hard for me to find words, honestly. I know that you ARE with us during this horrible war. And you DO help Ukraine and Ukrainians. You all are real LEGENDS. And once again you have proven that Stoke is not just a (great) Football Club, but it is a great family. Thank you very much for this incredibly needed device. You know that russians are trying to destroy as much as possible in our country and we are preparing for another hard winter (and autumn). This powerpack is superimportant. I cannot thank you enough, guys, really. Not only because it is an expensive and highly needed device for my family. But for your ATTITUDE. It was an absolute surprise to me!
