Got any?
Alan Hudson used to be big drinking pals with my Grandad and would regualy visit the family home in Knutton.
My Dad was in the same class as Adrian Heath.
Marcus Hall once said hello to me as he came out of the main entrance when I was up there collecting tickets.

Inchy used to drink in my local...see him in Castle quite a bit and he always says hello. Chris Iwelumo got out of his chair in Edwards on a wednesday night and shook my hand for no reason! I won a Peno competition at Peter Beagries fan club! I played in the same team as Neville Chamberlain.

Saw Steino as a lad and tried to impress him by dribbling a can, but with my head bowed down and ran straight into him.
Met Vince Overson as a lad again and wouldn't let him sign my shirt cause it was brand new and I thought I'd get told off.
Was down at the ground once and had just farted as Ade Akinbiyi came past, smiled at me but then smelt the fart, went "urgh" and hurried off.
Own a Stanley Matthews signed football and a Gordon Banks signed baseball cap.

i have appeared 14 times on match of the day during the 1975/76 season
i was the only person on screen for about 3 seconds but nobody but my mother could tell it was me as i had just recovered from mumps and she insited i wore pyjamas under my cloths, i also had to wear balaclava, bobble hat and a scarf.
also had the privelege of Sir Stan coming to my restaurant for a meal when they where planning his 80th birthday party, oh and used to look after Lou Macari and mike potts most saturday nights when i ran the restuarnt at stanleys casino, one night we had Lou at one end of the restaurant and Rudgie at the other end (when he was the fail manager), you can imagine which table had the better night (sorry john lol)

ok - these are very tenuous I grant you .... 1. As a youth I used to live near Alan Hudson in Barlaston 2. My first girlfriend at Barlaston Primary School was Dudley Kernicks step-daughter ... and she got me a signed picture of Gordon Banks. 3. I once played in a charity celebrity footy match against Alan Ball 4. I got Geoff Hursts autograph in Trentham Gardens

Just to show my age! - Tony Allen visited our house when I was a kid as he was a friend of my aunt and uncle.
I was also fortunate to meet Sir Stan about two years before his death. When introduced I said 'Please to meet you Sir Stan'. He replied 'No - its Stan'. Just showed a little humility of the man.
