Not together but around the same time. Better not say cause they're both living with their partners. Both have left Stoke now as well

TP's nephew is in my department at uni - I've demonstrated chemistry labs to him. He's apparently not too bothered about footy.

My late Grandad was in St Edwards hospital with late great Frankie Soo. My grandad had Alzheimers, not sure if Frank Soo suffered from it too.
Ive got a signed Oatcake by the whole team that emptied vale park after winning 2 nil in 93 ( i think).
One of my mates once told Brynjar Gunnarsson that i had piccys of him all over my bedroom wall while out one saturday night in Fluid. I really didnt, but dont think Brynjar believed me and he gave me some very strange looks! To say i was fucking embarassed was an understatement!
My real proper claim to fame is that i used to play golf with famous Chelsea fan Robbie Williams just before he joined Take That. We members of the same small junior set up at Burslem GC.

Oh and I met Lee Hendrie in Aruba last year. Shook his hand and my non-footy supporting mate said "who's that", so I told him "Hendrie". My mate looked well impressed, walked up to him and went "Wow, Stephen Hendry!"

Met Sir Stan at the Stone Christmas lights switch on about 10 years ago when I was just a young lad. Got his autograph on the back of a primary school newsletter and had a photo with him that appeared in The Sentinel the next day!

What about Matthews? A proper legend, like Banks.
My mum worked at Longton Cottage Hospital, which Sir Stan was visiting. He came into the reception and said "Hello, I'm Sir Stanley Matthews", to which she replied, "Yes, of course you are, don't worry, the nurse will be here in a minute".
The shame...

Thought about it just too late MD! I meant while they were playing for us.... Sir Stan possibly in his first spell - difficult to say but I bow to your superior judgment and apologise. I was out in Manc the day after George Best died and got hit for saying loudly that John Barnes was a far better player, so have got a history of this sort o'ting
