i can say that i was at the brit and was the first to get carl asabas autograph the day he signed. it was pre season and we were up visiting my aunt and had gone to the club shop to buy a shirt for me and the lad. as we came out of the club shop we saw him and rudgey going back in to the building having made a phone call. i welcomed him to the club and he signed our shirts for us, my aunt went all gooey over john rudge and after he spoke to her she had to have a sit down. the lady behind the desk said that if we left our shirts with her she would get the other players to sign them after training the next day. As we were stopping the week, we went up 2 days later and she handed us our shirts with all the teams signatures on them. they are now framed and on display in the house. May not seem much, but when you live here in banbury its as good as it gets for us.

My Dad has scored a goal past Banksy and he knows Mark and Neville Chamberlain through his days at the Vale. Subsequently the Chamberlains know me but I've never met them when I've been old enough to remember!

I got invited into the Victoria ground to meet Lou Macari. It was when we were all outside the ground after a match (cant remember who it was against) singing for Lou to stay. Got him to sign my shirt, he also said he hadn't decided if he was going (lying shit!

Well, 1) I used to live a couple of streets away from Vince Overson on Waterhayes 2) Spoke to Dave Kevan and Ronnie Sinclair once in Yates down 'Castle. [bastards were more interested in my missus ] 3) Play 5-a-side regularly with Harry Burrows' lads 4) Had the pleasure of meeting and having a brief chat with Carl Hoefkins last Thursday night in Rileys up Hanley Oh, and Stan Boardman was stopping in the same apartments as me and the missus in Tenerife on our honeymoon back in 2001 [the curly mullet haired mother fook!], but thats not Stoke related obviously ;D

Met Lou Macari as well - unfortunately it was whilst on a corporate do @ Old Trafford pre-season.
Got a great picture and when we mentioned we were Stoke fans he seemed to be more interested in chatting
