£3.75m a year for Bony is SENSATIONAL business in 2016

If TP manages to pull in Ighalo that is a far better signing imo Depends on price doesn't it?

Video referees. On pitch referee decides when to refer to them. Simple as that.

Was great until he gave up prestige for the money. I'd take a look at him for a season. Assuming we're paying about quarter of his reputed £227,000 a week wages in China. *gulp*

I love a player who gets to the byline on the edge of the box and cuts it back low to the penalty spot. Easy pickings from there.

If he has any sense he'll stay at Dortmund, can't see any benefit of him coming here other than for the money. He gets more minutes in the richest league in the world, he can stop having to speak German and he gets Geoff Camerons on Whatsapp.

Crouchy gave the match ball for his hattrick away too. If I'd have been there I'd have asked for 5 minutes with Abby.

He can leap onto Crouch's back so even if he never makes it as a footballer he'll have high jump to fall back on.

Why can't he do that at weekends and not against league 2 fodder Time and space and poor goalkeeping.

He played very well although it was not the most testing for afternoons for him. For £40m I'd want a killer 15 minute stand up routine at halftime and a handy in the showers after. Maybe he does that already, I don't know?

I think neither. There could well be another surprise winner - probably not Leicester. Hull.

Bojan

He was never going to have a great game on the right, but I'm really really pleased it wasn't Diouf out there as is usually the case. We need to get used to the idea of dropping Bojan for many games. Too often he's a luxury we can't afford to accommodate. Another benefit of shoring up the defence is that players Arnie, Shaq and Boj can stay up front and hurt teams rather than constantly having to track back to help out the hapless fullbacks.

In my opinion, we need a whole new back four but I'm pretty sure that won't happen this window. So, when a new centre back arrives, who loses his place? Wolly or Ryan?

We have a star on our hands. Get him playing regularly and we will recoup what he cost with shirt sales in Cairo. If we don't get another striker in I'd like to see Arnie tried up front to accommodate Sobhi.

No complaints over the result however the problems are obvious.
Poor defence.
Poor attack.
Poor set pieces.
Get Jones and Berahino in, sort the coaching out - we'll have a great season.

Is anyone better than SJW? Not many imo. I've said before if Walters left tomorrow it would be harder to find another Walters than another Berahino. I mean if he left tomorrow and you needed another who would you buy? Danny Ings.

I don't think the manager saying "We need a new three at the back" is the best thing for the squad to hear one week into the season.
Shit bin.

I'm saying if we're not going Plan A in Berahino then I'd rather get Balotelli for very very cheap than Remy. Remy is 29 and hasn't ever really done it at the top level. The odds of him keeping MBD out of the team are about 50/50. Balotelli is still only 26 and has scored the numbers of goals we want everywhere he's been until he went to Liverpool. We have a great record of rehabilitating prodigies who have lost their way. Arnie, Shaq, Bojan... Would you turn them down now? Loan to buy would be relatively risk-free, and it could be a masterstroke. People do a lot of growing up in their 20s. That all being said, I assume if Hughes had wanted him he would have got him in this time last year.

Remy is no better than what we have. The task here is to find that man who can score 20 a season. I'd offer Balotelli a loan with buy option whatever else we end up doing. I think he'd like it here playing with Arnie, Shaq, Bojan and Afellay. He's got to sort his head and career out eventually, hasn't he?

Where has this link come from? Butland isn't all that great with his feet either?
Pep, if you're reading, Jakob Haugaard can do like 30 keepy-uppys easily.
