Cheers Fuller, you are going to be a busy boy for the next 48 hours! Part of me thinks Bony is the better option for us!

4-4-2 with Bony and Berahinho up front would do me Gouranga.

Not sure about bony, he's looked like a lumbering oaf in his time at man city.

All the reports now seem to take it as read that he'll be off to China in January.
And it's interesting this one specifically says he's open to 4 months at Stoke as he wouldn't have to move house until then

Sorry as much as I would like him if he really does intend to go and play in China from January surely we are a bigger club than to bother with him when money is available to buy someone on a permanent basis or at least on loan with a view to a permanent deal

Telling the wife when you come home you could be moving to Stoke or China in the next 48 hours!

His £90k a week ages will look like peanuts if he scores a shit load of goals for us and puts us in the top half of the table. Big strong powerful forward that knows how to put the ball in the onion bag. Gouranga.

Great if he's motivated and up for it.
Not so much if he's using us as a paid vacation, Adebayor-style, before his lucrative move...

Much better option than Berahino IMHO. I really hope the Baggies continue to mess us about and we're virtually forced into moving for Bony as a last resort. 100% that he won't be named in the Citeh squad on Thursday, lives in Alderley Edge, you could see it being announced at 10pm on Wednesday couldn't you?

Absolutely correct - it's hard to see where the motivation is if he knows he is moving on to a mega bucks salary in a few months regardless of how he plays for us. In fact the only noticeable incentive is to remain injury free! Would love to have had Bony at the club but under these circumstances ....it just reeks of desperation and lack of forward planning.

Just a short term fix until January though? I thought loans had to be 6 months now which would be 1st March?

But we are where we are.
So JFDI so we have at least one credible striker on the books in the interim while we sort out a permanent solution.

If we did sign Bony and not Berahino I'd piss mesen at WBA having lost out on the £20m they'd have got from us and they'd be stuck with a Player that really doesn't want to be there, add to that they'd be shopping in the bargain basement to add anyone to their team on deadline day. Saying that I'd love for us to sign both. Gouranga.

I've always been a massive fan but surely the pending move to China suggests he is another Asamoah Gyan-type who is determined to waste his talent and views his career as a kick-about which serves little purpose other than making as much money as possible
