Personally I don't think he's championship level.
Yes he gets some good reviews from his league 1 games but then so did Lindsay in a promotion winning team and still many think he's not a championship player
Theres as big a difference between league 1 and the championship as there is between the championship and the premier.

For the first time in My life I wanted arsenal to win...purely to stop wolves getting into the Europa League.
Is this wrong.

With our hands tied due to ffp unless we get top dollar its not in our interests ffp wise to sell so I would tell his agent he's got 3 options. Find a buyer who will pay top dollar. Find a loan club who will pay a fee and 100% of etebos wages. The player returns to stoke and will train with the u18's or bomb squad for the season as he's not wanted near the first team squad. If he refuses to train don't pay him. The best interests of our club is what's important now not a group of mercenaries. The manager wants him gone as much as he allegedly wants out, so I'm not sure how a hardline stance of training with the U18s will wash. If all parties want out then you have to get it done. The fact we seemingly can't sell a 24/25 year old international midfielder without violating FFP speaks very different volumes though. With every passing deal or problem it just cements how awful our recruitment has been for years. I agree training with the u18's isn't ideal but it just might focus the agent and players mind to get Etebo a move away from the club.

And me. listening and reading the Leeds fans thoughts on social media. They really do think they are gods gift to the premier league. Even talk of champions league football within a year. I hope they fail spectacularly.

I said the same after the Leeds game. If he can't get on with someone pulling the purse strings or if he can't get rid of the dead wood why would he want to have to work with players with poor attitude. Can definitely see him saying I've kept you up now its time to move in different directions..there would be a good number of clubs without the dressing room issues we have who could easily tempt him.

If Leeds rely on him to get re goals for them in the premiership their gonna struggle. Would think they will look for an upgrade if not he's gonna become their whipping boy pretty soon.

Relegation from the premier has cost us many more millions. Which could take years and years to turn around.
Scholes out.

A loose pass from sorenson..picked up in front of their penalty box and 3 touches later its in the back of our net....but why can't butland dive with his arms stretched out their still under his body when he hits the floor.
We are just so bad it hurts.

.need to get more support around vokes more often to have any chance. 442 for me second half. What have we got to lose. Were not expected to get anything. Lets put their isolated centre backs under some pressure.

Could we really use the Celtic reject Bauer..wonder how his inclusion would affect the already shattered team morale.
Whatever lineup Mon goes for I hope he plays 2 up front.

And the football world used to say what a well run club we were in the premiership....erm they got that one wrong!
Maybe it shows pulis did an extraordinary job despite the inept workings of our board and owners.
What's all the fuss about. Eh peter.

The players are so detached from the fans now they would probably still believe they deserve an end of season lap of honour..just hope the guy on the tannoy turns the volume up and presses the "boo the spineless losers" button.

I’ve worked it out that if we played every other midweek next season(Play one, miss one) then next season could start mid October and still finish in May in time for the Euros. Meaning for this season to finish on the same basis and still have a month off afterwards it could resume as late as 08th August. Is that logical or would it be classed as too heavy a work load? Seems quite plausible to me. To heavy a work load. The quality of next season and the euros will be affected due to squeezing this league in. Plus more injuries to players due to lack of rest. think they have to bite the bullet nd end this season. Liverpool champs. Top 3 in other leagues promoted. And no relegation.

As surprised as I am that there are no guidelines in the leagues rules to cope with an emergency situation I'm sure come the start of next season hen ever that is there will be rules in place, ie:if less than 75%of games played on average of all league sides =then the season is void no promotion, no relegation.
If more than 75% of games played on average of all league sides = the season is ended with current positions classed as final. Including top3 promotion and bottom 3 relegated.
At least everyone will know where they stand.

What's to say these sporting bodies have not gone and made the situation a whole lot worse? I agree, I think they've just heightened the panic. And put themselves in a corner they can't get out of. This virus is not likely to peak until end april/may, so effectively they have ended the sporting calender until June. The because as the virus develops and spreads there is no way they can go back on there decision and reopen sporting events. They have reacted to early and put the country into a state of panic instead of trying to keep people aware but calm until a lock down situation was needed. To early to soon.

Instead of stopping on a busy main road why not drive 50yards more into the quieter sainsbury warehouse road and get dropped off there. Safer for you, less risk of your car getting hit, and less chance for other pedestrian or cars to involved in an incident with your car. The only downside is you walk 2 minutes longer!

Not just 18 in a row but 18 where Jack has shown no improvement in his technique. Not a good reflection of his training ground practice routines.
