Man of the match today for me.
Doesn't deserve the stick he gets on here. Good player improving each season never gives less than 100% and very rarely let's us down.

The crisis of poverty being suffered in stoke and other similar areas is unprecedented in modern times and is akin to Victorian England. And people voted Tory at the last election! Unbelievably in Stoke. Crazy isn't it, after years of constant labour MPs Stoke on Trent was a flourishing area.!!

I would imagine the ladies team and the location or quality of their pitch these last few sesonswould come under the leadership of the person running football matters at stoke city....
...step forward Mr Ricky Martin and his 5 pillars of bulldust.

I still think a fit Pearson alongside Burger and Bae should be our midfield for next season. ....................Iversen..................... Junior.........New..........New............New ....................Pearson.................... ............Burger..........Bae................. Manhoef...............New...................New Subs; Bonham, Rose, Gooche, Thompson, Sidibe, Mmaee, ........................ Buy Iversen! Two new central defenders! A new first starting 11 left back! A new winger with bags of pace! A new striker: Assante. Offload: Wesley, Clarke, Campbell and Stevens, out of contract! Send back the loanees apart from Iversen: Hoever, Cundle, McNally and Haksa. Try to sell: Laurent, Baker, Vidigal, Wilmot, Ennis and Tezgel! If we can offload all these we really should have some money to spend as well! Would like to give tezgel a couple more seasons to develop, he's still only a teenager. Lowe on the other hand has shown he is not up to and never will be up to championship football, in a race between him and me, with me running in a pair of wellies I'd still fancy myself to win.

Think after being so easily out muscled and out fought v Swansea he had to bring some grit into the side. We really could not concede a couple of quick goals today. We hung on, rode our luck then tried to more adventurous later on.
Not good viewing but 1 point is OK.....just

Can someone tell me what the actual fuck has happened to Burger….I honestly thought this lad was a different class when he first arrived. I think Burger has been tapped up by another club. Maybe why he has lost interest. I think he's struggling with injury, rarely can last past 70 minutes now.

It's all tactics guys.
Await the 70th minute when a triple substitution of Manhoef, Ennis and Bae will wreak havoc in the owls defence bring home the 3 points with a match winning performance...

Does anybody really have much hope that these players can put in a shift today & get 3 points. After that insipid display at Swansea I have lost all hope. The Swansea performance has really dented our belief in the team after the Hull and West Brom games... Which team will turn up today is the million dollar question.

anyone a bit concerned about Burger and Junho and their all of a sudden lack of form Junho is exhausted, he runs himself into the ground every game. Was lay flat on his back at end of wba game..needed a rest v swansea not flogging even further. Burger is carrying an injury and has for the last few months. He got strapping on his legs, probably playing in pain making the injury worse and can't believe what he has signed for. Both good players. But both struggling with amount of games and physicality of the long championship season.

Concerned with the team selections and how this is making our job so much harder.
Bae was exhausted after 70 mins v wba slumping to the ground at the final whistle. Surely the manager must of known the bae needs a rest and a midweek game on a heavy pitch in poor conditions against a strong team is not the best for a clearly tired bae.
Same with vidigal and manhoef was this the game, weather, pitch for them to excel from the start.
Would of much preferred leris, haks and Thompson starting the game last night, needed more strength and bite in the tackle on a tough night in Swansea.

Can't get my head around how 2 performances in 4 days can be so different... apart from thinking its a complete lack of any professional pride on the players, coaching staff.. what is going on at scfc.

How can the team show the qualities against wba to fight back to a 2-2 draw. But not even have the slightest motivation for a game 4 days later...
I just cannot get my head around what these players produce.

No Bayern, all of this let's keep dragging up all our past failures is distracting from the actual issue of supporting OUR club in the here and now to help keep us in Championship.. There's time for an inquest...now is the time to support the club we love. United strength is stronger.....allegedly The club is fucked up. Happy clapping that makes you part of the problem. Well done. Again Bayern, your choosing to miss the point to suit your own agenda. You call me a happy clapper have I said I'm happy with the last 6 yrs, have I said SS HAs not made any mistakes, have I said I think these are good players who do our shirt proud. NO, I Have not Bayern, what I've said is now is not the time to drag up old issues. It's time to stand and try and stop OUR yes OUR club Bayern from getting relegated. That and that alone should be all that the club, players and us fans are focusing on for these next few games. But you do what you do Bayern. I'm done with your selective comments. As I've just been encouraged by wilcopotter not to encourage the throbber. I'll take his advice and leave you to your joyous life

As usual Bayern you've forget the main point of my post in order to passify your desire to bring every negative thing from the last 6 yrs into the present At no point did I say the last 6 yrs have been without blame, mistakes. At no point did I say I accept the level of player or their lack of desire currently wearing a stoke shirt. The planet I live in Mr Bayern is the here and now...as I said SS needs us now, the players need us now, SCFC need us now. If we use this next 6 games to support our manager/ players...despite the many faults they are showing, then maybe just maybe it will help them avoid relegation. Or we can choose to boo the man whose job it is to keep us up. We can destroy what little confidence our players have, making them weaker and poorer and less likely to give 100%. The result of this could be relegation...is that what any of us want for our club. Of course not. Stoke city need us now. You choose whether you stand with your club. Or try to bring it down. It's time for here and now Bayern not aiming to right the wrongs of past seasons. If they play badly they deserve all the crap they get. And relegation is solely on them but mainly the useless owners . All of this fan talk is distracting nonsense from the actual issues at this club. No Bayern, all of this let's keep dragging up all our past failures is distracting from the actual issue of supporting OUR club in the here and now to help keep us in Championship.. With the support we have now we would never of survived that first year in the prem. SS has inherited a pigs ear of a squad, I'm sure he had no idea how unsuitable a good number of our squad were to championship football when he arrived. We're poor, can't score, can't defend and completely inconsistent yet he is inching us to safety. How some can boo him at halftime is beyond me, where's this 12th man gone. Don't give me its all the last 6 yrs which has made us so negative. Forget the last 6 yrs. SS needs us now, the team need us now, scfc need us now, we're gonna win some games we don't expect to and we'll draw/lose some we expect to win. Stick together. The alternative is the next 6 yrs in league 1, how will that increase you positivity watching stoke. Be Loyal, Be Proud, Be Stoke. United strength is stronger Forget 6/7 years of utter shite than had then been continued with his team selection and not trying to win a must win home game? What planet are you on? The standards are so low. You can’t actually care. As usual Bayern you've forget the main point of my post in order to passify your desire to bring every negative thing from the last 6 yrs into the present At no point did I say the last 6 yrs have been without blame, mistakes. Stoke fans, proud to be the 12th man and the creators of the “Bear Pit” atmosphere, proud to be recognised as the 12th man playing our part to help our team over achieve. Feedback from notable ex players commenting on what a difference we made. Fast forward to now and our new Director Super Johnny Walters who asked us to get behind the team to give them a lift and confidence. Points out how important it is to the players. We can’t have it both ways, we can’t take the credit lauded upon us for the atmosphere we created to drag a team over the line and not accept that when we turn that has no impact. Are the fans to blame for all our problems, of course not, but equally we can hardly take any credit either. Some real snowflakes amongst our supporters too, anyone taking offence at Schumacher’s comments needs to give their head a wobble, it was in context with the booing he got at half time and merely pointing out what many of our ex stars have said. With the support we have now we would never of survived that first year in the prem. A little bit of Easter points perspective
Qpr 6 STOKE 4 Brum 3 Blackburn 3 Rotherham 3 Weds 1 Millwall 1 Huddersfield 1 Swansea 1 Plymouth 0
I would of hoped for 3 pts from our 2 games so i suppose 4 points is a decent return. Only us and qpr survived the weekend unbeaten.
Like the teams around us we are all poor, nobody is playing with confidence and dominating teams.
We're inching ourselves to safety.
Keep the faith.

SS is well & truly out of his depth… again today he sets up with 1 up front in being Ennis, absolutely shocking way to approach a home game against a team whom is fighting for their lives at the bottom. They really should have been out of sight first half but because they’re so poor it resulted in us still being in the game. SS promised positive attacking football… I’m yet to see it at home. He should do the right thing and resign, his attacking philosophy lasted 10 minutes and we quickly went back to static, negative shit. He should be ashamed. I think he said a couple of games ago he's had to change his principles to grind out results. Initially he set his early stoke teams up to attack, our players are not capable to play fast attacking football...most can barely pass a ball to a team mate. We were quickly found out and getting thumped and usually a couple of goals down inside 30 minutes. He had to change, He's inherited a squad who aren't able to play the football he believes in. So he's inching us to safety the best he can with these players. Get off his back. He's in charge of a pigs ear and getting the best out of a poor jumbled bunch that he can. Overall 4 pts from our 2 easter games isn't a bad return for such a poor team that can't score goals which, is ŵhat we are.

I thought he was our best player today. had a cracking second half He was our best player in the 1st 15 minutes maybe. But kicked and fouled out of the game. Needs a summer in the gym to strengthen up, getting pushed off ball to easily..

As devastating as Haaland can be in front of goal, he really does become a bit unstuck when it comes to the basics. Prefer Kane myself, better around player You'll anger Mr Grumpy with comments like that. Prepare to be taught a football lesson...in fact prepare for a life lesson.
