Good evening all,
I will shortly be joining KnotFM Radio Station (new local station) where myself and a leading sports presenter/sports women will be starting a Stoke City sports show and I wanted to ask a question. If you can reply with SENSIBLE answers then that would be great as its always best to get input from you the listeners.
1. We are interviewing Vincent Pericard live to start with... What questions would you like to ask if you met him (keep them sensible please)
2. What other players would you like us to approach (past or present?)
Regards

Not sure if there is a window in which you can return them. Maybe something do with how you pay i.e. outright or instalments maybe?
If you need go private then let me know what your looking and where it is etc as I may be interested.

This is the thinking for us too spider. I really am working hard to get this done ready for winter but as above so many regs/h&s etc is madness.
There is a big demand for quality food. For example the shite that is sold in these vans can barely be called meat where as the sausage for example I would use is 70% pork minimum!
My thinking is, if I can offer a decent service at a decent price then people would come to me than go anywhere else. Even if I was 10p more than a van at the other side I could at least offer quality to compensate.
I was doing digging on the vans and the meat served and funny enough the other month a documentary on tv showed the quality of food from a burger van...It is utter rubbish and for me personally I am gutted that I ever ate one. Not tarring all vans with the same brush but VERY FEW will remotely sell any quality without you paying stupid amounts for it!
That is down to them of course and people should buy what they want. I will sell nothing but oatcakes, pop, water etc so won't be able to compete with the items they sell but I am filling a gap in the market.

Great thanks for all this all. I know where your coming from with the cost of working on the Britannia site. Luckily I have looked into an area which is owned by the Council so with a bit of luck I can get authorisation from them but if not then a 100 yards from that is private land where I already have authorisation.
Like the look of the bellybuster btw and as the poster above says its going be trial and error to start off but I will have it perfected within a few games.
Regards and speak soon with developments!

Oatcakes are quite simply one of the most vile foodstuffs known to man, perhaps second only to spinach. Consequently my response to your request for opinions is that oft-used phrase, I couldn't give a shit. Best of luck with your new business venture Thanks and I can't believe there is someone alive who doesn't like them..Agree on Spinach though that is vile!

Thanks everyone. Really appreciate all feedback. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to sell somewhere as simply as by the side of the road/near a stadium etc - So many regulations, health and safety and what not. Just be glad when everything is sorted.

Make them at the ground gets my vote. P.S isn't there a Van on the power league that sells Oatcakes? Quite possibly Exile, we are aware of someone who has done it up there. We will be scouting the prices of these and how regular they come at the start of the new season. Either way we will make ourselves the same or cheaper than them.

Anything over a quid an oatcake is daylight robbery. For a standard cheese oatcake I agree. Add sausage etc then of course its more but that was what I was looking at for standard cheese oatcake. Thank you for your feedback!

Hi all,
I am in the end process of starting a business with a family member which basically is catering for events, anyway - We will be making SCFC games priority selling Oatcakes as quite honestly its madness this is not done already. This most likely won't be live until December ish but hopefully one or two of you will be along to buy and no we won't be ripping people off before you say.
I want your opinions really. We have the option of either making them in front of you which would take around 5 minutes which we see as the best way but allot of time is taken both for us and you wanting to get to the game.... OR make the oatcakes at home and bring them to the pitch outside the ground where we can keep them warm (or slightly heat up if they need it)
Quality is the key here so your opinions on what YOU see as the best idea and what you would be happy to pay for them.
As above, not looking to rip people off here just simply make enough for a little extra cash and provide fellow stokies with a new option for match days!
Thank you. Jolly

Agree on both counts really. They are trying to get something but I reckon Newco are aware they don't have chance in hell of winning the case.

Not looking good for them now eh!
Green's purchase of their contracts is not valid, according to an employment law expert.
The club's administrators, Duff and Phelps, revealed earlier this week that Green's £5.5million purchase of Rangers' assets included a £2.75m payment to purchase the contracts and registrations of the players.
Duff and Phelps, appointed by the Court of Session on February 14, broke down all the "asset realisations" and it was shown that Green's consortium paid for the club's employees to transfer to his company under TUPE regulations, which protects employees' terms and conditions of employment when a business is transferred from one owner to another.
However, on the advice of their union, PFA Scotland, numerous players have rejected the opportunity to transfer their contracts from Rangers to Green's Sevco consortium.
Green rejects the claim that the players are free agents and the former Sheffield United chief executive sent letters to clubs across the UK warning them that the players who objected to the switch to his new company were in breach of contract.
International clearance for the transfers of Steve Davis, Kyle Lafferty, Jamie Ness, Steven Whittaker and Steven Naismith has been put on hold as Green continues to dispute the players' status.
Naismith has moved to Everton, Whittaker has signed for Norwich and Ness has joined Stoke.
Northern Irish duo Davis and Lafferty are at Southampton and Swiss side Sion respectively, while goalkeeper Allan McGregor is in talks with Turkish club Besiktas.
Despite Green taking a firm stance, Adrian Hoggarth, the head of employment law at Prolegal believes the deal struck may have been outside of the law.
"It is not legally possible for Rangers and Charles Green to buy and sell players as part of a business transfer," he said.
"Whether or not the players transferred in this case appears to depend on two things.
"Firstly, were they assigned to the business of the football club when it transferred? This is a matter of law and this has nothing to do with any money that may have changed hands.
"Secondly, were the players aware of the transfer at the time it took place? Case law suggests that if you know about a transfer before it happens and don't object to it, you lose the right to object once the business transfers. If not, you don't.
"To suggest otherwise would take away the right of an employee to object to being transferred, which is a right enshrined in law."

According to SCFC Direct its £50. This may be for the long sleeve but still stupid pricing regardless of the excuse they will come out with (extra material)...Stoke will make a bomb out of them anyway nevermind charging this type of money AND P&P...I have this years away top and while next years is lovely I won't touch it with the longest pole!

I am a big TP fan but I do see where many are coming from i.e. TP not likely to play the kiddies. HOWEVER I can't say that in truth TP is going to be here in 5-7 years.
There will be a point where TP has done he can or wants to do and maybe the wales job could come along. I hope it doesn't but every manager leaves in the end.
When it comes to the point of this having some benefit he could be long gone.

Not everyone's cup of tea on here but he did something I can't say I have seen him do before...swap BOTH strikers and try and give their defenders something new to think about. Behold one of the first touches from jerome and he flicks it on and we score. Certainly a plan B people said he didn't have.

For me, both teams to score accas are very big and much better than acca in 90 mins. Odds are not much worse. With full time accas they can be over at half time if your team is losing 3-0 at half time for example. Both to score bets run from 0 mins - 90 mins plus injury.
Just my opinion but i prefer them everytime. That said I will put £2 on that 6 teamer so thanks!

Sorry boys but Jermaine will be gone i thin in the next window. As we all know if you cross TP your as good as out!
I heard this whole issue is something to do with a game (Everton I think). The rumour was he has been playing around (to put it nicely) the night before the game and TP kciked off big style with him as its against the one rule he enforces for his players the night before the match.
Not sure how true this is but was just something I was told. Certainly not in the know just curious if anyone else heard something similar?
