Who the f--- is Zara Larson, and what has she to do with football? She’s a Swedish singer. It’s just a response to an equally ridiculous suggestion. I'm Norwegian and haven't heard about her, says more about me I reckon!

Maitland Niels released by Arsenal would we have a chance? About as much chance as me and Zara Larsson. Who the f--- is Zara Larson, and what has she to do with football?

Keinan Davies for £5M with add-ons if we go up wouldn't be a bad deal for any of the parties as I see it. I really can't see anyone willing to pay much more for him right now. Maybe £5M is a bit expensive for us yet, but I really don't know how much we have to spend.

I was really impressed by Pearson last season, and if people can't see his value to the team I really wonder if football is your sport to follow! Would be the first name on my wish list if possible in any way!

I thought he was much better in most games than a lot of people gave him credit for, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I also think he showed more than enough to make him a wanted player by us. He was also immense in his first start for Ireland, so I really hope we go for MR. Smallbone.

If we can get him for around £2M it's a no-brainer for me, bring him in!

I really didn't think Southampton would let him go, but if so we certainly need to be interested. I would really love to see him and Pearson in our team next season too!

If there's Premiership interest in him I'd say no less than £8-10M will be a good deal for us, especially if there are more than one club interested.

We might be talking ten mill for all three? Haven’t a clue as I’m not in the know, nor was the fella I was talking to. Just saying what he said and he’s no more knowledgeable about Wolves than I am about Stoke. However, as much as it would be a big chunk of any transfer kitty, assuming we have that much, it would seem ok value if we did do that I guess. Think £10M is too much for the 3 of them, but maybe around £6-7M would be OK. Don't forget we will still need a lot of players to fill all the empty spaces!

Being O'Rourke would suggest there's definitely something happening re this. I wonder if we've had some kind of hint that he'd be interested in us over Brum. Is he an imposing centre half or is he of the Wilmot mould? Think I read somewhere he is around the same size as Wilmot, quick, but not so good in the air. Didn't look too bad in the air from the Youtube clips above though!

If both of them don't improve a lot defensively I'll say none of them are good enough to play in a 4 3 3 system, but I haven't seen Edwards play for some time now. Still, I was less than impressed with him the last time he played for us. In fact I can only remember one game where I actually thought Edwards could be the real deal and that was at the end of a season when we played against Norwich. When it comes to Tymon it's really hard to understand how he can be so bad one on one defensively with his pace. Is it a lack of understanding? From what I can remember of Edwards he had a decent cross on him but was consistently targeted at the back post because he couldn’t defend there. He was alright, don’t think he was as shite as people are making out, and would be fine as a squad player / someone who could fight for a place. I see no need to ship him out unless it’s his attitude again You're right, he looked bang average in most games, but he certainly couldn't defend the back post! He also struggled when he met very pacy wingers, but defensively he wasn't any worse than Tymon to be honest. Still that's not good enough if we have ambitions of fighting for the play-offs.

He’s not good enough. Full stop. Absolutely bang average as a defender and going forward he’s less than average, bordering on poor. When playing for us, the amount of times he used to panic going forward from about 40 yards and then just boot a pointless ball into ‘the box’ where nobody was, or turn back and pass it to the CB’s or GK’s was ridiculous. I can’t fathom how people are giving Tymon shit but want to give Edwards a go (I know they play on opposite sides) but Tymon has got so much more going forward and you could toss a coin for who’s better defensively. Going back to Tommy Smith… he was a boo boy on here. Compare Smiths contributions to Edwards. If Edwards hadn’t come from our academy and wasn’t ‘one of our own’ and we had paid any sort of fee for him he would have been written off about 3 years ago. If both of them don't improve a lot defensively I'll say none of them are good enough to play in a 4 3 3 system, but I haven't seen Edwards play for some time now. Still, I was less than impressed with him the last time he played for us. Agreed. For all the talk about his ability going forward, he doesn’t deliver assists or goals (like Sterling). He sounds to have got better defensively though. We need all the players we can get at present and if he can fill a quota as a spare central defender in a back three as well as an option for right back, then it’s one less person for our eventual head of recruitment to have to bring in. Sterling got 0 goals and 0 assist 🤣🤣🤣🤣 ...but was an awesome defender!

If Brum have got the coin to offer him youd think they’d be favourites to get him Why, wouldn't we be a more attractive destination?

Did we miss a trick? - is there another thread about him? Have I had a drink and can't understand why, yet again, another player gets injured/under performs for Stoke City yet seems to gel elsewhere? He was crap according to the football managers on here. I honestly thought he was mediocre at best for us, but as said I'm not sure we ever saw him up to full speed because of his injuries.

I like him he's very direct, it was a ridiculous decision to let him go. With his injury and form at the time I thought it was the right decision. In hindsight you can say it was wrong, but when we let him go I was glad we didn't lose much money on him.

Don't think he ever was fully fit when playing for us. Was supposed to be very pacy, but didn't look like that when playing for us. Seems much quicker now by the way when he is up to full speed!

Not more than £20M I guess, but we will be able to offer decent contracts in this division I believe. There’s no way they’re giving Neil 20 million to piss up the wall. Give him a fraction and see if it improves us, then maybe a bit more in January for a title push😉 The Souttar and Bursik money + a little more is my guess though, if I'm wrong I really have no problem with that as this is just a guess!

He needs to have a leap like a salmon as a central defender of that height though! He might be promising, but with Wilmot as our other central defender I think 1.8 meters is a bit small for a central defender. I know Jags is about the same size and Canavaro was even smaller, but still I think we will be vulnerable on set plays.

This is not a rumour, but I really wonder how much we would have to pay for a player like Victor Boniface? He is 22-23 years old, big, quick, strong and got skills on the ball. I really wonder if our scouting system has seen this player in action? He might be too expensive for us, but certainly an exciting player with lots of potential. Transfermarket says €6m Would they really accept around £5M for him? And can we afford that? I'm sure it would be money worth paying though!

At a good age, good pace, but right footed as Wilmot. Would be a good move for us anyway I think.
