From two Welsh managers to a Scott and along the way interviewed an English, Irish and Spanish manager... sounds like a joke

I didn't want Lambert and I don't want Lambert, but I hope we all can back him if he gets the job! Everybody deserves the chance to prove themselves! I agree 100%. He deserves a chance so let’s back him. PC hasn’t been wrong too many tines.

Don’t need to his son has the potential, he has proved himself in the lower divisions and served his time. Stoke would be perfect for him and give him long term support. He’s done a great job with Burton

Spoke to my delivery driver today and his brother-in-law works for Bet365 (I know, bear with me). I am not in ITK in anyway whatsoever btw. He has been told the following: 1. McClaren has been interviewed for the job. 2. Put as much as you can afford on Bilic. Don't shoot the messenger - would prefer QSF myself (or Rafa/Rodgers if we are living in fantasyland) Lee Johnson would be ok

Wanted Rowett when we appointed Hughes. Hope it's true. Would love Rodgers but that's a long shot. Rodgers, Rowett and Orarson for me in that order Pearson.

I wish my boss would sit me down and talk about severance pay on that scale, I could retire on the spot. Yeah yeah I know this is football. Doesn't make it any easier to digest when you have worked your bollocks off for 35 years. I personally had the experience I described with seven employees in one day, one at a time on the hour every hour, knowing I was also out of a job. Then I came in the next day and my boss went through the same procedure with me, and then he met with his boss. Worst two days of my life. When I was faced with the same situation seven years later, i walked out and told them where they could shove their severance money. I had to manage the merger of my company with a previous company I’d worked with for 16 years. The people there knew me and trusted me. Less than a year later after a successful merger I was made redundant. I was paid a good severance pay but it still gets under my skin. Everybody is expendable and the way I see it is we are all just custodians for a period of time. I’m now in a great job with less stress. I believe in karma and eventually people get their just deserts. Good luck Mark Hughes and Stoke City

Ok guys, I'm not a massive poster here, but I believe we will do this. Positivity the whole way. We may even put up a fight against the shit. I’ll second that emotion...

If we can’t yet Rogers then Rowett then Pearson. To me Ranieri won the league for Leicester with Pearsons team. The year before they won Leicester were doomed at Christmas and he oversaw a remarkable comeback to see them stay up. Even the games they lost they played well and I remember them losing 4-3 at spurs when they should have won. In saying that I don’t think he manages up well as both Leicester and Derby punted him.

Good luck for the future Mark I have been a Stoke fan for 47 years and for a good while you gave us the best football we have witnessed since at least the mid 1970s (and arguably ever). You also brought us players of the calibre that I could only dream of throughout the wilderness years. I for one will be forever grateful but unfortunately the time has come. Please don’t let the vitriol of the large number of ‘less gifted’ people that inhabit this website cloud your judgement on all Stokies. Cheers Sparky Up the Potters! Chris I have been s Stoke fan for 45 years and I totally agree with your comments. Thank you Mark Hughes and best wishes for the future,

I have been saying we are only 1 win off 12th for a while now. However if we can’t beat Coventry what hope do we have against Prem league teams. Unfortunately we are looking like Sunderland of last year and look where they are now.
