I genuinely don't think I have ever seen a professional footballer with a worse first touch than Brown. Incredible that he has reached the level he has.

Aparrently a Peer for the Green Party has actually suggested a 6pm curfew for all Men. Wow This is a truly shocking crime and I hope the abhorrent individual involved is brought to justice as they should be. But a curfew for all men!? I'm happy for such a rule to be implemented, just so long as it extends to out of hours electricians, plumbers, mechanics, sewerage repair, tow trucks which is made up of just 97% male to 3% female. All those broken down cars at midnight, don't be expecting Brian to come and fix your conked motor. There's a number of uncomfortable issues at play here. Firstly, why are we already making excuses for the police? Public trust is at an all time low because of repeated failures and systemic corruption that exists in the police force. Ok, not many police officers go out and brutally murder women but the police have been covering up for each other for years, backed up by the IPCC and a justice system that won't prosecute officers for crimes that would get normal people behind bars. It was a matter of time before someone with a maladjusted view of the world saw the disproportionate power he has been afforded and took it one step further. Secondly, why have all the women with practical advice been drowned out by lunatics with advice like a curfew at 6pm? A few days ago, a woman on 5Live was saying how you could help female colleagues out at work by walking them home or phoning them on their walk home so it gives off the impression they have a partner. Today? Mandatory lessons for young men teaching you how not to be a rapist??? Most men don't need lessons on how not to be a rapist because most men aren't rapists. What's more, I fail to see how a rapist would be deterred by some lessons. Madness. Have I missed something? Who's making excuses for the police?

Think it’s harsh to say he was nothing. He certainly wasn’t good but he did well with Forest in the 80s and managed to get them competing for trophies and even winning a couple despite their financial difficulties during that decade. It is harsh to say he'd be nothing without Taylor but his contribution is often underestimated. The biggest job Clough ever had was Leeds and he made a pig's arse of it. He insisted if Taylor had gone with him he'd have turned it all around. As successful as Clough was the relegation with Forest is a real blight on his standing. The sad demise of a once spectacular man. He was only at Leeds for 44 days, hardly enough time to make a pig's arse of anything.

Brian clough and Bill Shankly for me both took clubs from the seat of their pants to the top of the tree and did so with verve , style , empathy , good grace , humour and dignity , no snarling referee baiting . Paisleys record makes him close but these two changed the trajectory of dead beats to dominating winners Bob Paisley just has to be one he improved Shankly's Liverpool so much that they became the dominant force in European football and his record of 6 league titles 2 runners up and 3 European cups and a Uefa Cup in 9 years is simply outrageous and I doubt it will be ever matched. Joe Fagan won the league league cup and European cup the year after he retired with his players plus Michael Robinson and Gary Gillespie Choosing the other is too difficult Shankly / Clough / Stein / Revie / Sir Alex all have their claims I would probably go for Stein if pushed. Reluctantly agree that Revie could be considered.

If we can afford " Eat help to help out " surely we can afford more than 1% for nurses? I realise that one is short term, the other on going, but nevertheless.....I think we owe nurses something in respect of the pandemic. And the shelf stackers, shop assistants, delivery drivers, warehouse workers.....and all the other workers on minimum wage who have kept the country going this past 12 months.

I was having this discussion with a friend, and all the usual suspects were mentioned with us finally agreeing on Sir Alex and almost agreeing on the other name. The other person was someone I'd all but forgotten and I'm interested in seeing how many on here will mention him. So who are your top 2 managers of all time? Sir Alex rebuilt successful teams that won trophies year on year so no one can deny his place at the top but Cloughie won the league with two provincial clubs and then went on to win the European Cup twice , that is a fantastic cv.

What makes people believe that it's ok to go and attack someone with a knife? Horrific. It takes some special sort of barbarian to stab another person to death in peacetime, it's a growing issue that this government has to start addressing in a meaningful way, anyone carrying knives etc without good reason in public should be locked up for a minimum of ten years. Theresa May really didn't like the police, she's a lot to answer for.... www.gov.uk/government/news/stop-and-search-theresa-may-announces-reform-of-police-stop-and-search

Mine's a recent one and one we actually won comfortably. We beat Luton who at the time, like us, were right in trouble and Allen and McClean both scored and both treated the fans to an ear cup each. Two players who on massive money had contributed to Stoke's slide to near relegation to the third tier of English football thought that scoring against fellow relegation strugglers proved a point to supporters. Fucking fuming before, during and after that game.

I honestly thought the ref was about to point for a free kick for diving. He blew his whistle, appeared to be turning his body to point for the free kick and then had a brain storm and changed his mind and turned back and pointed to the spot. A truly fucking terrible decision, the ref will be embarrassed when he watches that back.

Restrictions from March the 1st in Sweden No more than 1 person per table at every restaurant. At first they said no more than 1 person per restaurant. In reality though, in smaller places it can actually be almost the same thing ... since each person must have 10 square meters(!) of own space, and long distance between tables. No alcohol served after 8 pm and not open anywhere after 8.30 pm. The same when visiting every kind of shop. 10 square meters. It means many little shops, boutiques, could only have 1 customer at a time. Also true for barber's shops etc. Where limited number of customers everywhere then. Shops smaller than 10 square meters might have to close down immediately. No indoor athletic activities or games permitted! It means no basketball, handball, volleyboll, indoor bandyball, badminton, tennis, table tennis, bowling, gymnastics training or gym weight lifting activities. Schools half way open. Most lessons online from home. Authority people stationed and guards patroling and examining rules are in place and followed by the people. Police if necessary. Traveling not allowed if the bus or tram at least is half empty. This will mean chaos. All because FHM are shit scared of the British mutation. Alot of Jones success at Luton down to Harford, who kept Luton going when jones came here. The only hole in that argument is that Luton looked like they might get relegated when Jones came here.

I think the common denominator with those four are they four extremely boring state the obvious pundits Absolutely not. They make sense and explain things / suggest improvements / comment on positions etc. Jamie Redknapp and Micah are great guys but they say things like “he won’t be happy with that. He really won’t be happy at all” when someone misses a sitter. Brilliant. They very rarely make sense or explain things, neither does Keane but he is entertaining whilst knowing fuck all

I don’t care for Redknapp but Keane didn’t stick to his points. He just said anything to win the argument and then corrected himself??? He just blurted it out to make a point but had to backtrack. None of spurs’ players would get in the top 4 clubs. Not even Kane and Son? Yeah. They would. Reguilon isn’t a good player. Real Madrid let him go. That doesn’t make him a bad player. He’s a good player. That’s the difference between Neville and Keane. He never backtracks and is always right. Keane is right in the main but he’s made a dick of himself there. For what it’s worth, I think the best pundits are: -Neville -Carragher -Scott -Ashley Cole -Hargreaves In that order. I think the common denominator with those five are they are five extremely boring state the obvious pundits

I think he's a shit pundit and that rant was exactly that. It's the kind of shit that we would say in the pub when a football debate gets heated, and you start talking utter shit to get your point across. I know I'm biased, but that rant was way over the top. I can't understand where it came from. Did he have a row with the missus this morning? Had he a had a few drinks before going on air? Fair enough, Spurs haven't been playing well over the last couple of months, and like most teams in this strange season, have had thier ups and downs; but they are still in with a shout at the finishing in the top 4 (Keane after today's win "no chance"). His remark that no Spurs player would get into the current top teams was ridiculous. What caught my attention after his rant, was not so much the embarrassing silence of his co pundits, but the rictus grin and chuckling of the Sky presenter (his name escapes me), too shit scared to contradict him. It came from absolutely nowhere, he is a seething cauldron of anger and it makes great viewing.

Slow to react for the first rooted to the spot, not great for the second either not needed waste of a loan wage. Rooted to the spot? He dived full length It was a long way out and it wasn't a bullet of a shot. Gunn got nowhere near a shot from wide left 20 odd yards out, he really should be doing better.

The back four looked confident when they had Davies behind them and Davies was playing very well until the injury, He looks a far better keeper than Gunn and he should be playing.

Is he better than Tymon on the left though? He is, isn't he? Tymon is hopeless and so weak mentally he drowns in his own fear when put under any kind of pressure with the ball. I'm not sure how long people can keep believing that Tymon can actually become a half decent footballer.
