Surely this is the last straw. If we dont pull at least a draw at home against these lot, thats it. With the next fixtures being the likes of Leeds , Hull , Norwich ect.. This is the last 3 points available. Especially with the likes of Shef Wed on our tails playing bottom of the league on saturday and QPR , Huddersfield and others being on a win bounce.
Its an absolute must that we get behind this team and not fall down the league 1 slip n slide more.

Well it looks quite clear that another defeat will mean Steven goes.
Hopefully we can some how find a win. I think he should have gone after Coventry but hey, I can see why they are giving him as long as possible.

Massive.
Just put this on the Schumacher thread, but Boro pretty much have nothing to play for.
We have to win this.
Simply have to.

I really can't see him going even if relegated Yep, Coventry was a selection and tactical tsunami Hopefully can pull a result out

My prediction?
It'll be a close first half, but remain 0-0 at half time.
Someone will cock up about 55 mins, Boro take the lead.
Then it'll mainly be us attacking. We'll miss 2 great chances but it'll end 1-0.
SS will say he was pleased with the response, some fans will say we played well and he deserves another 326 games to get it right.

They seem better away from home 🙄🤣 They are but to counter that they have the worst record against the bottom 6 in the league. They’re basically us from last season.

we probably have a better chance vs Leeds and Norwich than Hull. M'boro is more difficult to predict. But those two teams are not likely to park their busses in front of us, they will play and concentrate on their own game, which leaves a few chances for us to attack well. Of course we have to score goals, and while evrybody seems to have neglected it, we did actually get one at the weekend. There's more to come.

It would be nice to see 18k stoke supporters singing their hearts out and creating an atmosphere...
Sadly, I don't think we have got the enthusiasm or stomach for a fight. Apathetic and disullioned ...
Most of the players can't give a shit and already dreaming of summer holidays.
The head coach seems on the road to nowhere.
Sad, very sad.

We can win this and go down we can lose and stay up Yeah but with the run of games coming, a loss here drops the morale and overall outlook BIG time.

Absolutely shitting it already, to be honest. If ever any game was a must-win, it's this one. Middlesbrough having nothing to play for goes one of two ways - they don't give a shit and we actually win, or they turn up and play with a freedom and murder us. If we win, it'll be a 1-0, brown undies affair.
Even though I have sort of accepted we'll go down, nobody actually wants it to happen, do they? I hope the players somehow summon enough effort and bollocks to put some performances in and get some results.

There’s nothing to suggest that we’ve got enough quality, composure and grit to all of a sudden win a run of games when we’ve only managed 9 wins all season. Hate to be doom and gloom about us and I like to look at the positives where possible but they’re just too few and far between😟
