How is the spirit of the players at the moment and the morale?Schumacher: Everything’s ok. It’s obviously not a happy place at the moment because we’re not winning. Nobody likes losing, players more so than anybody. It was important we got in this week and spoke about areas we think we can get better and what we need to do to win more games. We did that on Monday and Tuesday, we had two good meetings. Then the training sessions have been lively enough and hopefully the players are ready to go at the weekend and put in a better performance that is going to get us the points we need. Not exactly filling me full of confidence then Stevie La "lively enough" "hopefully the players are ready"......doesn't sound great that. Oof, thats not exactly a SJW call to arms is it FFS Schuey, doesn't especially sound ready for the fight does he

I have to say that one answer did sound very downbeat if I am honest, as expected and it's quite understandable, he's obviously really feeling the pressure?.

Let's face it, putting a gun to some of the player's heads won't make them "ready". Our lack of defensive options will be the death knell.

Don't worry everyone, no Junior, Thompson or Stevens (again!) means a return for Hoever.
I think we're going to need a bigger battle cry!

Leeds v Hudders early kick off
Big incentive for Leeds..not that they need one, can go 3 points behind Leicester for a short while more than likely who have some tricky fixtures coming up after QPR inc Soton
Means little if we lose though
Don't usually say the term must win game but this is massive....Feltz arse proportions
Will put us in that pack of teams just above us
🙏

Defence leaves me cold. Midfield flatters to deceive and there's not a lot of goals in that front 3 is there?

I've just listened to SS and now feel worse about the game.
He sounds thoroughly depressed.

Satdee is massive, dreading it. It won't happen but I would go 4-4-fucking-2: Bonham Hoever Wilmot Rose Gooch Million Baker Burger Junho Ennis Wesley Fullbacks play as fullbacks, wide lads get up and down, Burger sits, Bakes pushes on, 2 up front might just click??

Since Rotherham at home that feeling has only grown. We desperately need a win on Saturday, by hook or crook. I don't care how it comes, we just need the points.

Sadly, I don't think it matters how the team is selected. We don't have a winning eleven anywhere

Unlikely I know, but typical Stoke would lose to Boro, beat Leeds, then lose our next 3. It wouldn't be typical Stoke to lose to teams that are better than us, or believe that they are better than us. It tends to be those teams that we win against, against all odds. Just call each of those team Arsenal, that will do the trick...

Who care's who missing we simply have to win, other teams have got win's from nowhere and we have to start doing it and we are underdogs for this one.
Millwall won away to Saints with 20 percent possession and pretty much scored from every shot on target. We don't seem to be getting the rub of the green in some games. Watched the highlights from Cardiff and summed up season really. Ennis should of scored 2 These lot got beat by Rotherham A and bar the unreal Leicester result they have been on a downward spiral. We have to win this looking at fixtures. We win this and somehow manage another win in March and that should keep us out bottom 3 come the 'easier run' in.
I will really worry if we lose this... as I can't see us recovering and would need to win 3 of the games against Plymouth, Hudd, Sheff Wed and Swansea. We need 3 home wins and to nab a A win to stay up. I seriously thought 42 would be ok but looking at points per game for other teams now I am thinking its more likely to be 46.

I wasn't surprised by the culprit setting it off again though mate 😉 Agree with everything there mate, we have to do it this weekend. Just don't bloody let us down Stoke.

They can then claim the record by beating us on Tuesday....oh dear.

Carrick worryingly relaxed Doesn't surprise me to be honest, he was pretty unflappable when he played in CM for Utd so I can't imagine managing away at Stoke is going to keep him up at night!
