Without stating the obvious I think a win against Boro is the most important of the season. If we assume Huddersfield lose to Leeds and QPR lose to Leicester if we win we could go to 20th and I think just the psychological effect of being out of the relegation zone will be massive going in to a difficult set of fixtures.
If we lose I am seriously worried our heads will just go altogether.
Knowing Stoke, we will beat Boro but QPR and Huddersfield will win as well!

If we are all going to the game just support the team end of story , pointless turning up if your not, thats all we can do.

I wonder how things have been going in training down at Clayton Wood this week. Would be good to know the general mood, and whether SJW's battle cry has galvanized everyone ahead of this weekend. Hopefully nobody doing back flips!

On paper, all of our games are eminently winnable, Boro and Norwich are decent teams on their day, but certainly should hold no fear, if our attitude is spot on. Leeds away is a tough game, but again they aren't invincible. We certainly have a decent chance of getting the 3 wins we will need.

I think this game will be looked back on as a key one in time to come.
After the rallying call, which I'm fully behind, anything other than a win and we are done as it suggests problems are so deep some aren't pulling together. I can't see what else can be done behind the scenes and the blow could be terminal....so here's hoping SJWs words and actions have struck a chord and SS has the support of both club and players.

Definitely. Considering Boros recent form and their position in the table as well, it’s a definite must win.

Rallying calls will not give defenders the aggression, strength or brains they dont naturally possess sadly.

But we simply must not lose. If we do, we are staring down both barrels and begging for mercy. Wins against Swansea, Plymouth, and probably Bristol City on the last day are absolutely crucial though.

Trying to find some optimism from somewhere and the only place you can find it is in statistics. If you look through most of the recent games involved in the 7 losses out of 8, we have not been categorically outplayed in any of them with the exception of Leicester. We've been the masters of our own downfall, not taking chances at one end and conceding sloppy goals at the other. We are without doubt on a terrible run, but when you look at the Champ in totality most teams are totally inconsistent but will have purple patches and terrible runs at certain points in the season. Clutching at straws here, but we are due an upturn in results if we can keep our heads, cut out errors and start to take some chances and one result may breed confidence to get the next one and so on. It's not much to cling on to, basically akin to believe in the process/performances and the results will come, but it is all I can muster...

Well it looks quite clear that another defeat will mean Steven goes. Hopefully we can some how find a win. I think he should have gone after Coventry but hey, I can see why they are giving him as long as possible. Does it, I haven't seen anything that suggests he's gone if we lose, just people hoping that's the case.

No Tchamadeu on Saturday.....
That's 3 fit defenders in the whole squad (Hoever, Rose and Wilmot). Gooch will have to fill in at left back.

Hoever back in then presumably? And possibly means a back 4 just due to numbers?

How is the spirit of the players at the moment and the morale? Schumacher: Everything’s ok. It’s obviously not a happy place at the moment because we’re not winning. Nobody likes losing, players more so than anybody. It was important we got in this week and spoke about areas we think we can get better and what we need to do to win more games.
We did that on Monday and Tuesday, we had two good meetings. Then the training sessions have been lively enough and hopefully the players are ready to go at the weekend and put in a better performance that is going to get us the points we need.
Not exactly filling me full of confidence then Stevie La "lively enough" "hopefully the players are ready"......doesn't sound great that.

For me Manhoef has to start, he's got a creative spark which we will need in potentially tight matches.

Bonham Hoever Rose Wilmot Gooch Laurent Baker Burger Manhoef Ennis Bae Jun-ho Ennis will be so isolated if that's the case & he won't drop Cundle after we prioritised his signing over a left back.
