Absolutely not the type we need in what is or could be a relegation battle. I hope I am proved wrong, but I fear not..

I was expecting him to be quicker than he looked yesterday although only from what I had read. I'm not judging him from his first game in English football though and I really hope he makes a difference as he is our only hope as it stands.

Think he could be a key player for the rest of the season. Carved out a couple of great opportunities and was very positive in his passing and approach play. Will only get better, too.

He was the only player willing to try a proper through-ball. His passes were also the only ones with any proper pace on them.

He looks a fairly decent player, but always wants to cut in onto his left foot. He needs to take his man on down the line more.

Yes definitely noticed that and so did the defence, unfortunately with this type of player defenders in the league soon realise to force him on his and not allowing the cut in soon neutralis this type of player

Which makes the decision to have the RB behind him invert the more baffling! We need a RB to bomb on the outside of him to use the available space Manhoef frees up.

On the YouTube reel of him prior to signing all he has is his left foot and won’t shoot on his right. Won’t be long before he’s completely ineffective as teams will know to just always show him on to his right.

He could do with doing it just to keep them guessing, if it's a shit cross so be it as long as it's not too comfortable for the defenders.

Then they won’t be able to decide which foot they’ll be wanting to show him onto.

I’ve got high hopes for him…….but then again I thought Imbula was going to lead us into a trophy filled future!

He'd probably look a much better player in a team with a competent goalkeeper and a solid back four?

I like the look of him.
Don't mind the fact he is all left foot, a lot of players reached the very top while being all one footed.
Way way too early to judge him yet but promising signs

Hopefully just abit of time Not sure he'll be a great player, will need a lot of work to be comfortable with his right foot or defenders will soon work him out. Over to the scfc coaches and the lad himself if he wants to improve his game threat. Saying that he did at least look like he can put a pass through for the striker to run onto. A skill weve been void of for far to long.

I thought he had a decent game,BUT why the fcuk do we have to play him on the right wing, he’s left footed, so play him on the fcukg left wing, we have cambell, left footed, playing on the right, we Leris, left footed, playing on the fcukg right, and then, we have right footed players, playing on the left side, and we wonder WHY we can’t get the fucking ball in the box, it baffles me why, in the modern game, these over paid twats, cant kick with both feet.

I like him, but i also liked shaq when he had skill but no spine then also. Afraid of the same issue, relegation with spots of talent.

He can’t………just like Campbell and Thompson can’t, they’ve can only use their left foot and that’s why they are so easy to mark or close down. We have 3 players that can only use one foot…….shakes head 🤷🏽♂️

We have 3 players that can only use one foot…….shakes head 🤷🏽♂️ Not sure I fully get the argument. Maybe 90% of players are one footed (Messi!?). The ones truly two footed are never going to be found in a team like Stoke. That said I’m a believer in having a left footed guy on the left and right footed in the right. The number of times attacks stop as the inverted winger has his man beaten but stops to come backwards into his strong foot is hugely frustrating!

The reason we signed him was for his ability to play as an inverted winger, cutting in from the right and scoring & assisting.
Very much in the same way that the current top goalscorers do in the league. Clarke, Whittaker, Summerville, Armstrong etc.
Do Stoke fans actually watch football or are they just thick?

Saka is another example, all left foot. Going back further Rivaldo was one of the most one footed players ever but was unbelievable..yes having the ability to use your weaker foot helps but it's not that important
