You’ve got a couple of bodies in this week with Junior Tchamadeu back and is Million Manhoef’s work permit all sorted?
Schumacher: Yes, the work permit is all done so he’s trained this week and looked ok, looked nice and sharp and he’s integrating into the group really well.

Him and Ennis both starting is quite a big ask, but hell, why not?

Million needs to hit the ground running and help kick start our season, I think he and Junior, 2 more good footballers will I think being out the best in Cundle 👍.

www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/stoke-city-blackburn-team-news-9087416“Million is a wide player and he gives us balance. He’s left footed and can roll inside the pitch from that right side. He’s looked good this week, he’s sharp, he’s neat and tidy around the box and he can get a shot away. We need players who can do that, who can create things in the final third. Getting to the final third hasn’t been a problem for us since we’ve been here, it’s finishing opportunities off that has been an issue. Getting better at that and a better team we’ll become.”

That’s a relief! Hopefully makes a difference on Saturday with Junior and hits the ground running.

Just fear that there's going to be an impossible amount of expectation on him. Going to be very difficult to succeed in this atmosphere.

No expectation from me other than to be the leagues top scorer, save our season, go on a long unbeaten run and scrape into, and win the play offs. I'm not asking much.

As long as he's not another delicate flower and puts in the effort - looks like one that Schu can do something with. Hope he turns into a Manhoef Steamroller. Can we at least give this bloke TWO games before we write him off? (I know, pretty unreasonable of me expecting that here.)
A real professional doesn't know or CARE what any fan thinks, they're too busy trying to execute and help the team win. (Glen Whelan, Jacob Brown, Mr. Burger etc.) We have players like that and don't need another prima donna screwing with their outlook. Best coach (And team) I ever played for instilled in us, "Never Ever give up on a play. There's always something you can do, even if it's stupid. But we can work with that!" I'd have loved to play for a Schumacher, couple of these young men obviously aren't counting their blessings. I KNEW that we'd immediately miss Jacob Brown! Just like we missed Glen Whelan and other players many liked to deride.

I'd start with Manhoef on the right and Campbell on the left with Ennis in the middle! ......................Iversen................... Junior..........Wilmot........Rose.........Gooche ......................Burger.................... ...............Bae..............Baker............ Manhoef................Ennis..............Campbell This team on paper looks much better than last week's starting 11. I guess Cundle unfortunately will start again though.

Thought he was good at Rotherham, decent at home to Birmingham and poor vs Leicester but they all were

He does, also great to see Burger seemingly emerging as a team leader in the dressing room already. He will prove difficult to replace before long.

I wonder if we are expecting too much instant success and if he hasn't scored after six games he will be the new scapegoat. He is twenty, has been at Vitesse since he was 12 and never been to another club or country. How similar do you think Stoke on Trent is to Arnhem? How similar do you think Stoke's style of play and training regime is to that of Vitesse. Yet this guy is being heralded as our saviour this season. Like Vidigal he may start well but then go off the boil once the adrenalin rush of playing for a new club recedes. Or he just might not succeed at all this season and we will have to be patient and wait till next season
