Not fully in the races today, Ennis was much better. But he wasn't certainly hopeless, I can see him improving his game as he climatises.

Was hoping he would be alot faster. Looks technically decent with good passing vision though, but doesnt look like he will help us to stretch teams.

Not judging him on one game, but he was piss poor.
He either lost control of the ball and fouled the full back, or checked and played a simple ball back to the full back......

It was his first game, difficult to judge and not should we, but I am not optimistic our 2 attacking additions will kick start our season, Ennis & Wesley hardly scream goals and threat🤔.

I think he’d have looked faster if they chose to pass it in front of him. What’s the point of having someone who is supposed to be quick and passing it to his feet? There are few people in football who can take the ball from a still position, turn and beat their man for pace. Just another example of not playing players to their strengths.

We're a circus so how can you judge and write off a player after 1 game? Come on people ffs.

He was meant to add much needed pace
Those who saw more than I did said he looked slow??

Hard to judge given the context. Let’s face it, Messi would have looked bang average in that side today.
Interesting that Blackburn doubled up on him quite a few times, which worked a treat.

Was very very poor. Bet he can’t believe what he’s walked into. Another example of the “recruitment team” favouring a certain type of player. Reminded me of vidigal..

He was absolute garbage...but what can you expect of a player that came from a side bottom of a mediocre league that before today scored 13 goals in 21 games...and he was part of that problem..

He was awful, but we need to see more. Would never consider writing a player off on one show.
One concern is that he seems like another very lightweight player who will take time to adjust to this kind of football.
We've accumulated a few and I'm worried about the time element, when are they going to be ready exactly?
I feel like Bae is still getting used to the physicality and the pace, and while he looks a decent prospect, its still a struggle.
It looked like Blackburn saw him as our biggest threat, but he wasn't helped out much by the full back.

Do you think he did his homework before coming here or did the “millions” negated the need for that? There’s no way he’d be surprised in what he’s seen in the last 2 games if he had.

Just like Jack Clarke, Doughty, and the rest we’ve signed “just too early,” it seems that Bae and who knows, maybe this guy too, have arrived “just too early” in their careers.

Looked surprisingly slow. Ball control was poor and didn’t seem to have much positional sense, physical strength or desire to win.
Those slight concerns aside, he looks one hell of a player.

It means he's not especially pacey. I'm not sure who said he was but they were lying. In the highlights it showed he was quick at dribbling, not that he was especially pacy. Whoever thought he was a quick winger wasn't paying attention. His skill is that he's able to beat a man, but when we only passed to his feet he'd have to be Messi/Mbappe to go from zero to a hundred to go past his man. I wonder if we've trained at passing the ball into space at all in the last 7-8 seasons. It's like we don't know how it's done.

Great, he'll be with the kids on Monday morning... Let’s be honest it where he should be We needed a Kieffer Moore , a Carl Dickinson and a Liam cooper and we signed. Two players from Swallow and Amazons best suited to lashings of ginger beer and a sail boat , in Cundle and him who are far more suited to Academy football then a championship dog flight unbelievable.

Didn't look like the player I thought we were signing. Supposed to be someone who would take his man on. Just seemed like the rest, pass it back
