This is where I stand. Despite him completely throwing the game away on Tuesday and the inept display last Sat he's just about got some more time given how he has shown we can perform. He's absolutely got to pick up 6 points from next 3 games with potential 4 depending on the manner of performance. After that I'd give him till Boxing Day as the stick or twist. Going forward it's difficult to speculate too far a field with the policy Coates seems to go down. Would we allow Ryan to be given opportunity as Caretaker or is it too soon? Coates Junior has backed him. Hook line and sinker. There is no way that AN will be sacked this season. Relax. We may well be in the play-off shout come the time given some luck and a decent window. That's me in a nutshell. If AN turns it around most of us will be happy. If he fails he will be sacked (eventually). Maybe not fast enough for some fans but I am pretty relaxed about the whole thing.

I am old enough to remember back in the 60ās when a large group of fans gathered outside the main stand chanting āWaddington outā after another home defeat and with us facing relegation.
The board decided to stick and a few short years later we won the league cup and were challenging for the title.
My advice would be hang on in there show patience and tolerance and buckle up for what could be a bumpy ride!

Pulis had three seasons before Boskamp and two after when he achieved promotion. Waddo took three years. Remind me how long AN has been here again? Not that I think he'll do it, but it's hard to be labeled successful when compared to two legends when you've been here 16 months. Let's discuss what he's doing and not rather than talking about successes from 20-50 years ago. But Waddo knew how he wanted to play from the off and what sort of players he would need to get in ,to play that way . It took time to get them in, and he didn't get everyone he wanted ( Osgood?) . He did well anyway. If he had got them all in , we would have won trophies or gone very close Likewise TP , he knew exactly why he wanted akinbyi, Whelan , Walters ...to play Pulis ball. He knew how he wanted to play ...it just took a while to get the players in to fit the plan . And like waddo he was close but couldn't get over the line some of the players he wanted AN has no idea how he wants to play . Their are no patterns of play ...we don't have two banks of four...or anything else. Their is no system. Their is no plan. Even MoN would have worked out better , if he could have had Tymon and junior as wing backs and they had a hit the ground running. AN isn't even MoN , he doesn't even know what he is trying to achieve, and not even Jared can recruit for that . AN doesn't know how he wants to play because he openly admits to varying it depending on the opposition. It's something I've disliked from the off as quite clearly the players can't always do what is asked. I am firmly in the camp of having a plan A and plan b and sticking to them, AN prefers chopping and changing every week and we wonder why consistency is a problem. Why is he still employed at the club? Get him gone....

Yet another in the line of Stoke managers in history that deserve the chant "you don't know what you're doing". Hughes lost the plot for his last 2 years in charge Lambert knew what he was doing. That was to take us down as gently as possible. He couldn't have kept up an erection. Rowett had a plan. That was sabotage us as badly as possible. Jones had many plans. I still don't fucking know what any of them were though. O'Neil kept making his plan up along the way but it never included any ambition. Neil is just an inept chancer. I'm not convinced that he is actually a football manager.

Sort of deluded arrogance about him to Dominic Cummings ,and thet both wanted absolutely power , all their own way , all there appointments and no ideas how to deal with power then they got it , come to think it have your ever seen them in the same room as ther are other physical similarities too height apart

The recruitment team isn't good enough I think the players are generally quite good, but somehow they are not gelling together. There are few teams we have played where I've thought their players were better, but lots of teams who seem better organised and better understanding between the players. We had 3 good results against North East sides but only 1 good performance against Boro. Sunderland had a lot more shots and shots on target but we scored twice from ours. Leeds missed a penalty and gave us an own goal. We also had some excellent goal keeping in those games, to keep us in the matches. This season is going the way of Jones' and MON's seasons with players I believe are better and more committed. If the players heads go down we will be sunk.

We shouldāve been all over Philogene. You could see when he was with us that he was ridiculously talented. Having had another year on loan at Cardiff to toughen him up, it was inevitable that heād have been a hit.

I reckon he will survive the season. Top six he will continue but bottom half will see him gone.
In-between? Anybodies guess

Heāll get this season for me but itās the context of how we finish it that will shape his future if we limber to another mid table finish and offer little or no signs of progress he wonāt have long next season should we start badly in that scenario it would be better to get rid in the summer however if we show signs of progress and we can get a run of form going then he'll get a go next season and the summer rebuild but for me personally that has to be top 10 maybe top 12 as a minimum.

That's got to be it for this clown now surely. A game we should of won but the manager resorted to just aimlessly hoofing the ball up front all second half!
He doesn't have a fucking clue how to change a game!
