He saved 2 shots 1 straight at him another from 25 yards jesus people are easily pleased on here he’s a decent back up that’s it No one has really suggested he’s anything other than decent back up though. But plenty have said “League 2 standard” “absolutely wank” etc etc….. And dont forget he was Gilligham’s 5th choice apparantly

Doing just fine for me. Deserves his place and I wouldn't be losing much sleep if we don't re sign Travers. Costneil his job by not locking travers in, we are an injury away from having simkin, fielding in between the sticks, a goalie has to be a priority After Travers was recalled we won the first game (Boro away), drew the next two then lost four on the bounce before AN left. Were any of the four defeats post the recall of Travers down to errors by Bonham?

Of the four defeats after the recall, I saw those at home to Blackburn and S.Weds (Simpkin GK). Cannot remember GK errors in those games… Was JB to blame for QPR and Plymouth defeats?

I thought he should have saved two of QPR goals but he also made 3 tremendous saves

Jack Bonham has been amazing in the last few games.
To pretend otherwise would be ridiculous.

I think he's one of the best shot stoppers in the league and his distribution is good.
Awful on crosses and corners though, which is one of the reasons why we've conceded so many from set pieces.

Good job Bonham last few games.
If you put together different fans' complaints we only have 1 good player across the back 5, we've done some attacking football under Schuey and hardly conceded. That's something.

Bar Swansea I think he's been pretty solid. If FFP is still a huge issue for us in terms of how close we are to the wind then I really wouldn't bring in another keeper this window. I'd leave it until the summer as there are pressing issues elsewhere in the side.

I think Bonham has kept more clean sheets than Travers this season. Of course we need an upgrade but he's not as bad as some people like to make out. He has improved a lot this season.

I agree to some extent that we may need the cash spending elsewhere but even if we don’t spend big on a number 1 now we definitely need another keeper of at least similar quality to Bonham if only as backup until the summer. At the moment the thought of an injury to Bonham makes my teeth curl.

I’ve no idea mate I’ve not seen enough of him. He had absolutely nothing to do against Sheff Weds to judge him on. I hope he is but you’d think a loan away would do him far more good at his stage of development than sitting on our bench for 4 months. 🤷♂️

Everyone knows we need a new goalkeeper. Everyone. So why when I said that yesterday were you intimating we didn't? There’s a difference between needing a new keeper to take us to the next level and having a perfectly competent keeper doing a decent job as a number two at the moment though. Some people don’t seem to be able to separate the two…….
