19/20 24 appearances with an Otamendi or Fernando* who couldn't get in CM because of players in his position. Fernandinho was one of the best CDM's this league has ever seen as well. If you don't rate Stones I'd rather have a football conversation with a door knob. Glad we can agree that Fernandinho was preferred to Stones as per what Pep said, which is exactly what I posted. I even said he’d had a resurgence… If you can’t comprehend what I originally said then that’s a You problem unfortunately.

If for a few games in 19/20 Otamendi was having a shitter as per the quotes then no. Otemandi got bombed out pretty soon after. Stones has been a main stay in the most successful Prem team that will probably ever be. Well done you for admitting he had a resurgence from winning the prem to winning the prem every year.

I've not read all 7 pages, so I might be repeating an argument already made but there we go.
I feel for Maguire. He's a 30 year old guy trying my best but before Maguire there was another guy who took far more abuse. Way more. Booed and laughed at by his own fans let alone fucking Scotland's.
That guy was Emile Heskey. That guy was bullied by journalists, fans, other players it seems... And nobody really gave a shit. One of the saddest interviews was when he was on TalkShite in his mid 30s and they asked him what he was up to next and he said "Well nobody really wants me" in the most depressing voice I'd ever heard. Fucking hell.... It was hard not to feel for the guy. A man broken by football.
Nobody cared whatsoever. Poor Harry eh?

His problems seemed to start when Man Utd paid that ridiculous fee for him, which was obviously not his fault. They may have paid a lot of money for him but at the time he was one of the best Center half’s in the country, also played well for England as I recall scoring a few goals,he was particularly good in the World Cup 2018.

You obviously didn’t read the article or quote. Waste of time discussing this with you clearly. Sorry Mrs Stones, hope your partner plays well this weekend 😂
