Anyway, what’s he doing going on holiday the lazy bastard!😉 I think AN said he was giving them some time off this week whilst players are away on international call up then get down to some intensive work next week. They need a rest they’ve worked about >700 minutes since May. Dunno what I’m on about that’s about 650 minutes more than me.

My wife is on a girls trip in Ibiza. She’s in the same beach club as Josh Brownhill. He’s just face timed my eldest for a chat.

He's a quality DM. Best we will get in the Championship. There are many other problems to worry about. Not so sure Potty. The midfield in general has hardly been in it for too many games already. Maybe harsh singling out Pearson but but he's not performed too well at all for me, Laurent also. Is way too easy for the opposition. Our forwards can't get into games as a result. Not so sure about you, bit of a tool recently returned to the forum, but there you go👍

I would say, on balance, he’s the best player in the division at that job. Give him time to find his groove.
Quality player.

Pearson is the player we’ve needed in that position for a while now. Like other posters have said, I think he’s been carrying a niggle. He’s also been getting used to new players & carrying Laurent on more than one occasion this season. Should be captain, might make him think twice about the daft yellow cards he gets most games.

Peason article - SentinelIt's good that he's acknowledged the yellow card issue as it's essentially making him play with the handbrake on...........

He needs to up his game pretty sharpish. He's been far too inconsistent both between games and in games and I'm not sure he plays in a position that forgives that level of inconsistency. He still doesn't look fit enough to me.

I like Pearson but getting a yellow every game shows a lack of discipline. It will cost the team & maybe his place with so many different options available. AN should drill home to him that its unacceptable.

He was welcomed on here as our “dark arts” man and that’s ok but he is getting yellow cards for silly fouls that aren’t necessary.

I watched him off the ball for quite a bit of time on Saturday (when the sun wasn’t blinding me), he doesn’t seem (or look) like he’s fit, just seems a bit laboured

Referees have the easiest job in the world to impose their authority on the game when he commits a stupid offence early on. The annoying thing is he doesn’t even hurt the opponent

He's not as good as I expected and not as consistent either but he's a better footballer than I thought and he's much better than Thompson so I'll give him the thumbs up. He does need to improve though and learn to curtail his petulance and perhaps improve his fitness levels. Hopefully he can create a good partnership with Burger and whoever else completes the midfield trio, hopefully Johnson or Junho.

Well I had him penned in as our next captain, now I'm not so sure, morphing into a middle of the road champ Glen whelan Hope he does become a Glenn whelan. Well he's getting singled out for dogs abuse as was Whelan,so it's a start.

I thought he was OK on Saturday and didn't need to make that tackle in the first minute. He stopped a few attacks, kept the ball moving and was generally OK. I don't get the need to go OTT when we lose. If he's not sprinting around like a mad man some seem to assume he's had a bad game, if he goes unnoticed it probably means he's been okay, I don't think some understand his position.
