Seriously now when are people going to wake up and realise that they are by far the biggest issue at this club?
The one constant in this 7 years of misery.
Sacking another manager is just a facade. It will change nothing.

The owners themselves don’t need to go.
They just need to get someone with half a brain to run the club.

What kind of incompetent owners let a manager have a full pre-season then sack him before the end of the transfer window only to hire another manager and pretty much tell him not to worry about this season as we can spend money next season?
Where was Neil's incentive to perform this season? He knows his job is safe until the summer.

They've consistently demonstrated that they simply don't know how to operate a successful club in the modern era.
No vision, no dynamism, no plan.
We're going absolutely nowhere whilst they remain in charge. Nowhere.

We don't need new owners, but perhaps the way is run needs a look at, for me the manager has too much control
I'd prefer a more continental approach with a DoF and head coach where eac member of staff can concerntrate on their own role and we can look for experts in each fields as opposed to what we have now

Admin can we please put this pile of a garbage of a thread into the bin where it belongs. Why? It's a completely valid discussion point. The owners have shown absolutely no footballing nouse in the slightest, we are stupid if we don't start asking questions of their abilities run a football team that supposedly wishes to return to the top flight.

Let’s face facts here they’ve overseen absolutely everything and at no point have we remotely looked like we’re heading in the right direction, none.
Their decision making has been diabolical over and over again

Yeah as someone says they're the one constant. We'll be breaking the 100 players used since relegation barrier next season. Onto our fourth manager.
They've made massive mistakes, not replacing Hughes in the summer of 2017, appointing Paul Lambert to try and keep us up in the premier league, and giving MON a transfer window and then sacking him five games later into the season.
They have no idea on how to run a club in the modern era. Neither would must of us, but they actually have the resources and ability to enact positive change.
The manager focused approach doesn't really work anymore, and we'll see it again when Chris Wilder "tries to bring his players in" next january

Football is a team game as many great managers have pointed out.
But the manager is also part of the club team and needs to "fit" with the players and the club backroom team and with the resources of the club.
It is patently obvious the owners cannot pick the right manager for the set up at Stoke and they need to appoint a chief executive who has extensive football knowledge and experience to not just select the right manager but also the right people for backroom jobs, scouting around the world, academy, etc. and have the authority to veto a manager's choice of a player, if he judges that he is proposing to buy or loan a "wrong-un". Hughes and Rowett broke the bank bringing in too many players of doubtful character that Pulis would not have touched.
Surely there is an ex Prem manager who is past his team managing days and has the wisdom to take on a bigger executive job and guide the whole club back to success.
It is clear now we struck lucky with Pulis, and Hughes was the right man to fix what was wrong with Pulis's squad, but unable to sustain success , signing the right players needed to replace those that chose to leave, or aged. We now need the right head man to guide the present manager and sort out the rest of the set up.
One specific policy that needs correcting is loaning players. Loaning may be necessary to plug a gap, but you cannot achieve success with a team with a string of players who have no long term commitment to the club, want to step up back in their "own club", and demotivate the players that are on contracts and cannot progress into the team.

Excuse my language but the way i see it we are fucked with them in charge (not monetary but how they operate) and we would be massively fucked without them probably not even existing... what a mess..

The question is....
Do you seriously they would run bet365 like they have Stoke in the last 7 years?
The 10 years in the greed league will soon be overtaken by utter shit in the Championship and possibly Lesgue 1. We are currently in the same position as when they took over.

The Coates family unfortunately have taken the club from a fill the fucking corners in club to a partly filled stadium watching tosspot performances week in week out without any sign that things will change soon. As for AN he’s been a fucking waste of a salary

I’ve lost track about the club is set up now - no one other than AN ever seems to stick their head above the parapet. You would think that now is a good time for someone to step forward with a few words of hope and encouragement and perhaps even a little acknowledgement of the unremitting fiasco that last season has been.

I agree they aint done very well the last few years but unless I am mistaken they did help to get us promoted and kept us there for 10 years. Without the family this club would be down there with the Bradfords etc
