Agree there’s no guarantees we’ll sign any of them. If I was a betting man I’d say Smallbone is probably the likeliest. Could see Pearson going to the wire depending on what Bournemouth need. I would say Pearson is the most likely not least because he's not wanted down there Depends what happens in the summer doesn’t it? If they go down and lose a couple of midfielders in the process, I can see a scenario where having a proven performer in BP is an asset to them.

If the rumours about our potential inflated transfer kitty are true then it may be possible for us to attract 3 or 4 of these guys. Their current clubs don’t want them at the moment. That is a great bargaining chip for them and their agents looking for a move. We all know that agents and players are in charge. I err on the side of optimism.

Pearson - hopefully one of the most likely to sign. Even if Bournemouth get relegated he will have 1 year left on his contract and they may want to cash in.
Sterling - Out of contract in summer, would depend on who else is in for him but I think with ua being able to spend again we should be able to offer him a good deal.
Hoever - I think Wolves will want too much money, they've invested a lot in him.
Tuanzebe - Out of contract but if he stays fit I think some bigger clubs will be in for him.
Smallbone - I think our only chance of getting him is if Southampton avoid relegation and even then, with two years still left on his contract they will want a big fee for him.
Celina - yet to see anything to suggest we would want to sign him but am I right in saying we have an option to buy?
Sarkic - Has missed the large parts of the last few seasons through injury. May not be worth the risk.

Celina - yet to see anything to suggest we would want to sign him but am I right in saying we have an option to buy? Sarkic - Has missed the large parts of the last few seasons through injury. May not be worth the risk. Hoever's a strange one. They did pay £9m for him, but he's looked about as close to the team as Steve Bull. He'd really have to have the renaissance to all end all renaissances to be a proper part of their squad next season. But with the finances what they are, and them looking at a loss, another loan could work if he carries on performing. Apparently if Chelsea offer Sterling a new deal, we would be looking at a compensation fee as he turned 23 this season. Can't see it, but they may see it as a way of extracting a fee for him because he won't sign there. He's an absolute no-brainer if he's up for it though. You've got to think he will end up in our league. Pearson looks probable, but you never know what could happen if they get relegated. O'Neill has spoken very positively about him, but hasn't backed it up with playing time - and with 12 months left, I doubt they'd turn down £2.5m for a player who couldn't get in their 25 and wants to move north Tuanzebe - you'd think he could do better even if it's abroad - and only the Prem could get near the salary he's been accustomed to. But would he start regularly in the Prem? He'd be a gamble for any Prem team offering him a lengthy deal. Man U have got an option of 12 months but can't see any real likelihood of them taking it up I'd fancy us to get Smallbone if Soton stay up. It was never confirmed he signed the extra 12 months there, so it's possible he'll be entering his last year. The Soton manager hasn't worked with him and at 23 he needs to be starting every week, not getting on the bench now and again

Being as Pearson is the hairy love child of Alex Neil I could see Neil pulling out all the stops to sign him. Quite right too, he should be the number one priority.

Pearson, Smallbone and Sterling would be great.
Sarkic would be good but I think there are other keepers that will do as good a job.
I just think the likelihood of signing any of those players is very low and then we’re effectively back to square one.

Ideally we need Smallbone and Pearson, I would happily spend 10 million for both of them

I imagine our plan is 5 loan players next season so presumably Hoever and Sarkic are in play as they won’t be near the Wolves first team and not obvious any club will buy them. Sterling will go the highest bidder - if he was coming here we could sign him now. I imagine Tuanzebe sees himself as a PL player and Smallbone and Pearson will depend on relegation, but I doubt we would splash out on Smallbone. If I was Neil I would spend any money I had on Pearson and a striker

Pearson and a mobile big man up front who can hold the ball up and score a few are the essentials.

When was the last time we signed more than one loanee in the summer? In fact when did we last make a loanee permanent? For a whole raft of reasons it simply doesn't happen very often. If we get one it's a bonus - expecting it to be a key plank of our squad building strategy is a bit mad.

As I said earlier, no one knows whats going on behind the scenes. Alex Neil is not going to show his cards is he. Maybe there are options on more than Celina. We just don't know but I am confident that Neil will have ideas as to what he wants to do concerning some of them.

Sterling is the key one for me. I hope he joins. Fear he will go Palace or Fulham or somewhere like that.
Pearson the second key one 🤣 I think this will happen irrespective of what Bournemouth do.
Sarkic - 2/3m but I’d look around to see if there was better value elsewhere. But I’d be very happy if he did sign.
No chance re Smallbone if Soton get relegated.
Tuanzebe - I think he’ll join a club that play in Europe or a lower PL club.
Hoever - at the minute I wouldn’t want us to sign him.

Pearson and a mobile big man up front who can hold the ball up and score a few are the essentials. It’s against teams who park the bus we need a big centre forward. However, in two games, we’ve just scored 8 goals against teams who try to attack us.

It's totally dependant on how their parent clubs get on IMO with respect to Pearson and Smallbone. The latter I think will be a struggle even if Saints stay up. His form won't have gone unnoticed at, let's say, a Burnley for example and he's every bit a Kompany player with how he sets up. Saints might also see him as a key part of their PL rebuild. Tuanzebe will be very difficult to sign as will Hoever (financially). Sarkic will be the one who I think we could get both financially and in respect of Wolves, who I think will spend big if they stay up. Sterling should be do-able. Celina - does he even exist anymore?

If , big if, we could get pearson and smallbone that would be great .
tuanzabe is a premier league player on about 2 million pound a year wages (mostly paid for by man utd) and we have no chance of either getting him or affording him .

I'm pretty sure its already agreed for Pearson to sign up for next season. He only signed on loan to make sure it got over the line on transfer deadline because of how late the deal came about it.

We are able to make it permanent at any time and doing so would be helpful so I’d say you’re wrong otherwise we’d have done it already.

Pearson and Smallbone are the priority for me. When was the last time we had a midfield that gelled like this?
The others can be replaced. Finding the same midfield formula with different players might not be so easy.
