Dave Watson although his legs had gone a bit was the best header of the ball I think I’ve ever seen.Absolutely won every header. He was mate and to his cost in later life sadly Yes mate it’s bloody awful.Poor bloke.

Which players were you wrong about? The stand out ones. For me I couldn't see what Jon Walters gave us in the early days. Fast forward a few season and what a plonker I looked.😆 As soon as I saw the post, I immediately thought about Jon Walters 👍🏻

Greenacre. I remember caravaning with my Grandad and hearing the news. I was really excited that we’d finally get someone who could regularly put the ball in the net. He was brilliant at Mansfield, thought we'd hit the jackpot

Well I can’t say I ever picked Graham Potter to be a top four manager 😄 I remember in the hospitality bar at the Vic after matches he always looked a bit out of place, very quiet and was never really one to mingle with anyone. Was a bit shy I guess and agree, never thought would be manager material. Carruthers was always the life and soul and loud, Potter looked like the new kid at school. Great to see him do so well

I’ll throw a couple of managers into the mix
Bally Brian Little
On the other hand I thought Pulis was a shocking appointment first time, and wasnt overly enamoured when we appointed him second time

A recent example is Tymon, at one point it didn’t look like he’d make it in professional football and now he’s one of the best wing backs in the Championship. Nobody saw Tymon doing anything in his early days, so you’re not alone.
