*agrees* Use the remaining games to try and hit the ground running next summer. Should perhaps start phasing out the players who won't be needed next season and start playing those that will Should think about giving Tezgel a try - nothing to lose

Definitely gone now but we are nowhere near the mark so another season to build and improve is not a bad thing ......

It was 6 points off 6th place before the match and still 6 points off now. So in that respect little has changed. But realistically it's a long shot. I personally haven't written them off yet but with Bournemouth away coming up it is a tough ask.

I’m not convinced we’ll finish top half, never mind playoffs. MON has taken this team as far as he’s capable of - mid-table - and is out of gas now.

2 wins in 10.......we aren't in it at all Unbeaten in 5, we are We are averaging 1.4 points a game. Our current form supports that. There is nothing to suggest we will average more than that over the next 15 games. So that's 21 points, giving is 65....which is miles away from the playoffs

Not a chance. MON has fucked it up good and proper. Insists on playing his favourites ( Allen, Clucas ) week in week out. Can someone tell me why Moore has been benched? THB was poor today and should be dropped for Luton.

It’s always the next game.
The run will start on the next game.
But we have to win games in the here and now and 2 from 10 is quite frankly shocking.

Right now we are right on to finish there or there abouts. 2 wins in 10 is it,? And people think we are about to put a run together??? No chance.

Only Chance Is A Good 5-8 Game Win Streak. Other Than That We Will Be Mid Table Again.! There Was Positives Today But Silly Mistakes Cost Us & Seem To Be Costing Us Every Game.! 4 Points Dropped From Last 2 Games Thats For Sure..!

We're just not good enough and are frustratingly inconsistent. The manager continues to make mistakes either in selection, tactics, or subs. The play-offs are out of reach (and have been for a while IMO), just look at our points per game so far, projected to the end of the season this would leave us well short. If there is a team coming with a late run this season I really can't see it being us.

We’re 1 point better off than we were at this stage last season. We haven’t improved as a side and we still don’t have a side that will run through brick walls in order to hold onto points.
That was really poor today, 100% not a side that looks like they have any belief/ambition to make a challenge for the top 6, which is understandable when you consider half of the squad know that they won’t be playing for us next season.

"Timid manager" It's utter bollocks. I agree that we won't make the play offs though, but I was saying that a few weeks ago.

We're still 6 points off but running out of games I fear. Looking at it from the other side, 12 minutes to go, 2-1 up away at a side with 10 men and no goalkeeper and 2-1 up at home to a dreadful, spoiling Birmingham side.
Genuine play off teams see those games out and sadly we are proving we are not quite there yet. To see both games end 2-2 proves we are a top 10 side at best sadly.
You never say never in this game but I think deep down we all know.

you can't get in the play offs with Jacob Brown spear heading your attack, today proved that missing from 5 yards out, fine margins

Absolutely no chance. Look at our Win and Loss record, it's middle for diddle and we're where we should be based on that.
How many points lost from winning positions now? 4 in the last two games alone. We've gained 4 all season (when losing)!

There's not a lot to cheer about being 13th, but...we're no worse off than we were before the game, and in fact we did move just a tiny fraction closer to the play-off zone. The reason of course is that we weren't the only team of 'between 5th-19th' that had dodgy results today. It was actually a poor result for Brum if they harbour play off ambitions.
So play-offs are still within reach for us. Well within reach, I'd say.
