It’s totally embarrassing we can’t do something like this. It doesn’t even take any reasonable effort. This is the main reason I don’t go to games anymore

The matchday pre entertainment has stayed the same since we moved the the Bet365 if anything it has got worse. People really need to move on, its like Oatcake shops all selling cheddar because it always been that way, very commendable but boring as hell. Its a mentality thing with our city.

I wouldn't know about pre match as I try to get to my seat as close to kick off time as possible. Half time can and has been a lot better than it currently is with competitions on the pitch eg kicking the ball through them holes put in front of the goal, zorbing etc etc. Can't imagine any of it is majorly expensive and can't imagine why it's all stopped. EDIT: I could do with something light hearted to take my mind off the previous 45 minutes of dirge I've just been subjected to.

Can't stand the drums, or clappers. The big flag waving and tifo's are ok unless your stood behind them and your view blocked every fee seconds. The bundelsiga crowds have looked amazing since they came back. Easy wins are less concrete, more red n white walls, more scfc murals and flags about the place.

Showing off our history would be a start. Is there even anything in or around the ground showing off 1863 or the founding members of the football league, even celebrating the league cup?

Sounds, Looks and will be absolutely fucking wank. To some but to others it would be great. It would be nice for the club to try. I’ve never known a club do anti making money. Went to a Shrewsbury game a few weeks ago and they had a fan zone there. They had a dj, different food stalls and a bar. It was busy and a great atmosphere. Easy money making exercise.

We never seem to explore ways of raising additional revenue, some might argue we don’t need to given the owners deep pockets, but as a ban on gambling sponsorships rightly seems inevitable you’d hope that we’d be thinking of different ways to bring money in

The same people will say it’s wank, and that’s fine if they don’t want to use it. In reality it would be a good idea.. It’d be used by people travelling in from out the area.. people taking the kids etc etc .. kids kicking empty bottles of carling around isn’t really enough nowadays, especially when the football on offer is boring. Not all pubs are welcoming of kids and I think most families would arrive early and use it.. should be making the whole visit as easily and cheap as possible for families (ticket prices are good, food drinks are a rip off) out of all my lads mates I’d say 80% are Utd Liverpool etc, and on the odd occasion they do go to Stoke they say the whol experience is wank! Surely helping local business with food and drink stalls would be welcome as well🤷🏼♂️

Issue for me is that, as fans we’ve all got lots of good ideas about what can be changed, but the supporters council never get anywhere with it and the board never listens

Completely agree mate, I really can’t see a downside with it tbh, and like you say a few pints of titanic, some local food/band and shit for the kids do, would be a much better experience. You look around and see young kids looking bored out there fucking mind, it surely wouldn’t be that hard to do stuff.. and for those who say it’s wank/cringe or whatever then don’t use it, completely get people have different circumstances.

Not on the topic of Fanzones as such, but would just like to comment that I attended my first game ever in the JSU on Friday and my word, it is a different world from every other area of the ground.
Carpet in the concourse, no queues whatsoever for a beer or for food before the game or at half time, no one smoking in the concourse or in the toilets.
Really enjoyable experience

Fan Zones through the winter months (most of the season) would be horrific.
I can see how they would work for a few weeks at the start and end of a season for some folk though.
At the end of the day we wouldn't be having this conversation if the home form wasn't so wank.

One of my annoyances are people leaving 15 minutes early even when we have put in a cracking performance. Fair enough it's everyone's human right to leave whenever they want, there might be valid reasons but compared to other clubs out there it seems that something is fundementaly wrong with the exodus around 75 minutes.
Parking issues? Traffic management? Culture/habit? (its what we've always done?)
