My mate bought this up today but surely with Remembrance Sunday being on the 14th it’ll be at the home game on the 20th🤔

Never done this after remembrance Sunday as long as I can remember I think they've just forgotten but I may be wrong unless someone can tell me different

I'm sure they'll do one. I just hope when they do that the instructions are clear and everyone knows what's happening.
Last time, leaving aside the usual McClean shenanigans, people in the crowd were unsure if there was a minutes silence, and if so, when it was to be observed.
It all got a bit awkward as I recall.

Just as well after today’s surrender. It would be embarrassing to have our armed service men and women, past and present, on the same pitch as that spineless shower today.

I mentioned this. I can't see them doing it after the international break.
If that is the case then it's absolutely tinpot. The club want fucking for this if we do nothing at the next home game.

Can anyone from the supporters council confirm what's happened here?
Can't see anything on the news feed on the club site either. Hope I'm wrong, but just when you thought today couldn't be any more embarrassing.

Dreadful decision not to commemorate today.

Perhaps no one told the relevant people that McLean has left and so there's no risk of controversy this year.😂😂
To be fair the international break has made it difficult this year. Our next home match is closer to the day and we could be planning something on that day and we might wear poppy shirts next Saturday.

Why is it embarrassing?! Surely it has to be sanctioned by the football league. Usually on match of the day they show a snippet of each game observing the remembrance and none showed? Maybe it’s because we’re 2 weeks off Remembrance Sunday?

I’m 25 and it seems as though it’s waning now. God willing we still have full services for the rest of my lifetime.

Maybe it’s because we’re 2 weeks off Remembrance Sunday? Why is it embarrassing? Because it looks like we've missed the last opportunity to commemorate British service members who have died in wars and other military conflicts since the onset of World War 1, before, or on the day all clubs usually do. 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧

Just realised that. Saw Burnley players with poppies on shirts. Put it down to that fooking International break ..We should have done something today .Also maybe something for that poor man who died in the week .
We will remember them .

Fulham did theirs today against WBA.
We are one of the few clubs who are signatories of the Armed Forces Covenant, and gold-accredited at that.
We will be doing something.

I remember when remembrance weekend was just one weekend in November! Nowadays it’s a competition over who can remember more. Poppy mascots, poppies on shirts in October, poppies cut into the pitch. Ridiculous.

I think the auction is a bad idea tbh. A raffle would be better and actually give your average fan to own something like that and probably raise more money too.

It's poor communication from the club if they are doing something to honour our fallen heroes on the 20th. From memory we have always paid our respects on the home game before remembrance Sunday.
