Couple of sloppy passes - one in the 95th minute after he'd ran and ran - and maybe he can link up with Surridge better.
Massively nit picking, very good Jacob.

Has Lord voldemort shown his face / arse on here yet? There will be a few in hiding tonight, or ignoring certain threads. They’ll reappear when something goes wrong. It’s just their way.

Excellent tonight, my MOM. Vast improvement, I'll happily eat Humble Pie if this carries on...

Went tonight and I thought he was poor again. Runs his bollscks off and harasses but he’s no threat to goal at all. He’s a forward who’s role it is to get in goal scoring positions( and score) and he’s miles away. We all love effort but there’s very little ability there. Think he might be an option at right wing back but he will never be a goal scoring forward. Hard to say after the best performance we’ve seen in four seasons but will easily be displaced by Ty or hopefully Delap.

There’s plenty of time to argue with each other.

He was integral in the high press which kept them on the back foot, and he forced many errors from their players. If you look at pure goal threat he still has a way to go, but as part of a fluid attacking team he was integral in everything we did.

I thought at the time the ball would have been ok, but Tymon was too knackered at that stage to get to onto it?

I thing for me he’s no threat to goal. Like having a defender up front. Sorry will ever get the love in with him, no ability at all.

I thought his flick-on for Surridge midway through the second half was magnificent. If Powell or Vrancic did that, we'd be raving all over this board for weeks.

I posted after the Brum game that leaving him out was a big mistake because he injects pace and frees up space for the mid-field players. He also boundless energy and will run until he drops, which wears the defenders out. Surridge and Fletcher doesn’t work because they are too similar. Brown plus either Surridge or Fletcher works well. For me, Brown would be the first name on the team sheet.

I really liked the understanding of the front free press between Surridge, Brown and Powell. When Powell got forward to close his man, Brown would just drop over to middle right. They have definitely been working on team shape out of possession.

He’s looked a very handy player so far this year. I was one of his harshest critics. If you’re reading Jacob please please please keep making me look like a mug.

Another great game from Jacob and proved all the doubters wrong! A constant pest all night and ran himself into the ground. Well done lad great start to the season 👍👌

Looks a completely different player to me. He's somehow found an air of confidence he was severely lacking before and I'm more than happy to see it after being (rightly) critical of him last season.

Why would anyone hide? Everyone, irrespective of their view of specific players will be delighted. I don't like Allen or Clucas but both were excellent last night. I don't rate Tymon at all but he had his best game in a stoke shirt to date. I couldn't be happier. Delighted with the win but even more so with the performance individually and collectively.

He was superb last night from start to finish and was up with Tymon for MOTM. It's an absolute pleasure to see him developing as he is.
A wonderful sight.

The similarities with SJW are there for all to see. If we get half the value we got from him then it will be marvellous. It’s all about having a bit of patience and tolerance for players learning on the job but who clearly (as Brown does) have the right attitude to succeed.

He's come on in leaps and bounds since he arrived and last night he was superb. Never stopped running and harrassing the Swansea defence and certainly does remind me of SJW. It would be great if he can chip in with a few goals as well.
Keep it up Jacob !
