from Arnie, N'Zonzi and Shaqiri to Crewe and Rotherham cast offs, this makes me so sad to see just how far we've plummeted in such a short time. Gouranga. Its all relative, before Arnie, N'Zonzi and Shaqiri we had Richard Forsyth, Steven Taaffe and Kyle Lightbourne. We'll be good again! Steven Nkemboanza Mike Christopher Nzonzi's contract expires in 7 days according to transfer market, wouldn't it be nice if .... 😄

Gazza Hacket from the Cheshire elite dislikes this. Indeed I do. Absolutely ridiculous how we keep ignoring these types of players. We'll regret it I have absolutely no doubt.

Ryan was offered to Stoke and we rejected him, saying we weren't interested.
Can't help but feel we've missed out with this one, hopefully MON has something up his sleeve.

Just because someones manager and coaching staff bull them up knowing they are going to leave and ready to attract potential bidders doesn't mean they are. The football world is full of allegedly great players where in reality they are nowhere near good enough. We have a long list of signing alleged potential that turned out to be shite. Gouranga.

He watches Crewe Alex fairly often Albert On Quest? Let me elaborate - we've not been able to watch our teams play for 18 months at the ground so we have had to rely on the official or unofficial streams but considering Stoke and Crwho kick off at roughly the same time which has been his preference? I know who I have watched being a Stoke supporter and it certainly wasn't be the weirdos from south Cheshire. Gouranga.

Yes I have seen him play probably around 50 times over the last few years. He's EXACTLY the sort of DM we need.

Not a supporter as such but my son is a season ticket holder and I enjoy watching lower league football where most of the players have come through the clubs academy academy. After watching Sam Vokes lumbering around the pitch it's quite a refreshing change.

Are you a Crwho supporter? Gouranga. No but my son is a season ticket holder. I won't get into the why do you choose to watch Crwho instead of Stoke debate (seeing him play 50 odd times when he's played 94 times in the last couple of years) his stats don't really cover him with adulation, 24 years old 11 goals in 186 appearances at mainly league 2 level, and Crwho were relegated in his first season then struggled for the next 3 seasons achieving promotion by default. He may look ok in a lower standard of football but that doesn't equate to him progressing to the highest level as you suggest, while I accept your opinion it is just that, we haven't signed him (I'm not convinced we were ever interested in him) and we have to move onto other potential transfer targets. Gouranga.

Well actually for 99% of the time I only ever attend matches that Stoke are involved with (apart form internationals), I was just wondering how you would be able or have the time to watch both, it's not pathetic - it's a valid question considering you have a lot of input to debate on this forum. Gouranga.

Gouranga. When you're son supports another team it's quite common place as a family to go and watch together. He often watches Stoke games with me too so he'd have a very good opinion on say Sam Vokes for example if he was discussing it on social media. You also don't have to physically attend games nowadays to watch other teams. If you've got an IPTV account you can watch many games from across the globe including every crewe alex game or even someone like Yeovil if I felt the urge.

Gouranga. Like (I'd assume) vast majority of Stoke fans I have never seen Wintle play. However the one fan who has seem him play (lots too) really rates him, only 1 fans opinion of course. however another Championship club wants him & other reports on him (see this thread for details) suggest he's a good prospect. + he's local & a Stoke fan (see this thread for details). Cousins has gone & it's still not clear if Allen & Clucas will be here Sorrensson is coming back maybe we are going to give him a go? the other young midfielders Porter, Malone & Sparrow all need a loan out imho maybe the theory that Coates wont sanction signing Crewe players is true? maybe we have someone better lined up? however on the face of it this does seem like a missed opportunity?
