Thought he was very neat and tidy, good game and unfair to say it “was only Luton” he did his job well

Cousins looks a far better DM than Clucas - FACT! At least he gets stuck in a battles a bit Eh? Clucas isn't a defensive mid though... baffling comment. Bloody hell sorry I meant Woods 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

Cousins was told to do a job, and he did it. Didn’t make any mistakes of note (which is decent after a long time out of the team) and stuck to the script.
Fine by me.

Well played , added some physical presence and recycled the ball quickly, much better suited than Woods.

He can't do any worse as a DM than Woods can he? Yes. So that's a No then?

Anyone would think he had a fantastic game, he was steady. Woods has had much better games albeit not lately. The difference is physical presence , cousins is better at closing the space and in the tackle , I dint mind woods snd if he can get in alongside cousins or Badou fine but not instead of , he may well get that chance post the January window

stoke fans making themselves look daft cunts on pre match lineups since 1863. Actually it was the manager who thought Woods was a defensive midfielder and kept picking him as the defeats racked up You've not mentioned Brechin or Shamrock Rovers for a couple of hours. Are you feeling alright? I'm starting to worry.

No he’s quickly erased tonight’s results from his memory and has hauled his pathetic doom mongering cart down the road to upcoming fixtures, where he will now park it and bore us all senseless He’s tedious

Think he did a decent job tonight to be fair - admittedly against the worst side we've seen for a long, long time. Is he the answer going forward? Not for me, if Badou is fit for Saturday, he has to come in in the holding role, but, on the strength of tonight, he's probably edged out Woods to be the back up in that position, he's got a bit more physicality about him, he's more effective breaking things up through the middle and he's (slightly, not by much though) more direct too. Think a more dynamic and direct midfield would kill him, but if we are going to stay compact in games against teams in and around us, he should just about do a job for us.
Still need to strengthen though in that position, so if we bring a new holding mid in, his place in the squad would depend on what happens with Badou.

Thought he did the basics pretty competently.
No frills. Passing wasn't quite there but I don't want to be too harsh.
What he had that Woods doesn't/didn't, is the physicality and obviously being natural in the position as opposed to being asked to play there and adapt.
They were very wank, could he cut it against a non-league 1 standard team? - that's another question.

He was superb tonight, solid, hard to get past, exactly the opposite of woods.
I was so surprised coz i was worried when i saw his name.
As a Stoke fan being surprised in the positive sense is rare these days so hats off to Jordan!

Decent performance - not flashy but that's not his job. Written of by many on here without even bothering to take a proper look.

My MOM tonight.
The only player who played well for the 90 minutes and he was trying to get in their faces when no one else was. Really good from him.

He is not in the manager's plans whatsoever.

Credit where it's due. I was unimpressed when I heard Cousins had been named in tonight's team but I thought the lad did his job really well. The opposition wasn't great but he put in a really good shift and, for me, pushed Joe Allen very close for MOM. Whereas Joe Allen started off very slowly and almost cost us with a really poor pass back that Batth rescued, Cousins was consistent throughout.
