People have to leave games early for a whole host of reasons. I leave early due to an injury sustained years ago, whether we're winning, losing or drawing matters not, I leave on about 83mins to get down the steps & away before the rush to ensure a safe trouble free exit. I'd rather not do but have to. Missing last minute goals really dont fuss me & never has, just one of them things, always done it always will cant be helped. Still feel buzz inside when hear the roar just havent watched it live. But you enjoy & celebrate tonight those who have genuine reasons to leave early if it makes you feel better!

Could well do, choose not to as got 2x young daughters with but I'm not one of them that goes running back in after a goal. It is what it is, really dont fuss me. Well done to all those that stay, but dont slag people off who choose to leave when they want to.

Who give a toss if you want to leave early then do it if you don't stay!
Is it going to affect you that early leavers may have missed the goal?

Get over it, Ffs!!!
Some people need to get away, it's their choice!!!
If you were in a crowd somewhere (not Stoke) and decided to leave early to beat most of the congestion, would you??? Or would you hang back until the end???
You saw the goal, and celebrated in style no doubt, like myself.....just be pleased about that!!!
I've not even given the ones who left early a second thought!!!

I do the same when I'm banging the Mrs. Just before she's about to get a face full of disco, I promptly extract myself, get dressed and then get in my car and drive to nowhere in particular. She can fuck right off if she thinks I'm hanging about having a cigarette and talking to her.

OP how far do you live from the Stadium, im just curious.
Bet you dont have to walk/run to the station to get the 17.05 to Bournemouth, getting home at approx 10 pm.
What about the wankers who have to stay for one more pint, and everyone has to get up and let them in, and then 10 mins before half time, up they get for some more beer as they stumble past me
2nd half the same, get to their seats about 16.10, im up and down like a f*cking yo yo.
Get over yourself, if i want to leave 5 mins early i bloody will
ps i didnt go today, hope thats ok with you ?
Its ironic, when we played @ Southampton last, i just had a 15 min train ride home, lost count of the number of fans were leaving 5/10 mins early

I think if you merged all the threads into one on this subject, you'd probably have about 5000 pages to read through.

If people go early they've paid their money and made their choice .Its the people who block your view by standing in the walkways that bug me ,stay be your seat or piss off .π

There you go. People start by saying they leave early because they have to, then when someone gives a reason why they dont actually have to, they then say "yes I could stay, but choose not to"
Exactly. It's usually a choice.
I imagine for some there are legitimate reasons to regularly leave early. There will also be loads of people that try to claim theres a legitimate reason when there isnt really one. They just want to beat the traffic etc..
People are of course entitled to do as they please, but getting caught in a bit of traffic etc..hmmm. same people that probably want the players to run their arses off for the full 90 minutes but cant be arsed to stay and watch them do it.
I've just never understood it when a result is in the balance.

What's the point

Unless you know of any 20,000 odd thousand capacity Cinemas you attend I would say a rather lame comparison! As he said , everyone might have loads of reasons why they choose to leave early, be it work , train, disability , or perhaps fans not living local so long journey and not worth the wait for an hour in car park for an hour! Either way their choice, and to be fair it's hardly Stoke have scored many late goals to worry about missing so sure he ain't missed much over 3 - 4 seasons, and if he is still chuffed Stoke win when he's outside good on him!

Tossers who arrive late Tossers who leave early Tossers who can't hold their ale and have to go the bog every 10 minutes Tossers who go down to the concourse 5 mns before half time Tossers who come back late form half time
Tossers the lot of you. Football is being ruined by supporters... tossers.
