I suppose the big question will be if he tries to repeat the performance from today - or play Jimmy Mac and Ince .... and go back to form.

Fuck me to the people who are criticising this. He’s been honest previously and admitted his faults and the gone on the attack when he’s won. Nothing wrong with this at all Where we go from this is anyone’s guess! I think you meant ‘Fuck off to the people criticizing this’ Makes me wonder have our lack of wins made some forget how to react when we do win.

Great result and performance but save the "told you so shit" for when we are top 6 not bottom of a pretty mediocre Championship. And if he knew this was his best team why didn’t he play the same team against Huddersfield? Exactly, at home to 2nd bottom Huddersfield he plays CCV at right back to nullify there best player ( his words ), and plays 1 up front. Today away at the league leaders he plays 2 up top and a back 4 that looks a lot better balanced. He had to be brave today and low and behold it paid off for him. To many managers these days with a negative mindset, mkre worried about not losing than they are winning.

I'm just going to enjoy the win. Well done fans, players and Nath. Onwards and upwards.

"I have had to work my socks off to get where I am. I have had to fight for every part of my career and as a coach I am no different. I've gone back to being me and I like me. BBCWhen did he come out with the 'gone back to being me and I like me' bit? Who was he before then? "We have created 41 chances in the two games prior to this and we lost them both."Just why on earth does he feel the need to come out with this sort of stuff, I really don't understand it? He clearly knows that it isn't true, well at least I hope he does ...

3 points to sign off for Nathan.
At least he can go out with his head held high.
But he should be absolutely no where near our football club for the next game.

I can't see them sacking him after a win. Just imagine if they do and the new incumbent falls flat on his arse. They would look even bigger mongos than they already do. You'll have to wait a little longer for the capped wonder In fact I love the fact that the top brass will really be scratching their heads tonight after this win. Stick or bust JC, what's the plan?

I'm amazed that some people can't cut the bloke some slack. He's just won against the top team (on their patch) with a performance the likes of we haven't seen for donkey's years; we've come from a goal down; scored in the last minute, and sent all those Stokies home who went to the game feeling on top of the world. Besides that he was pretty much out on his arse with his pride in tatters after the Hudersfield game, and even if he does get the sack now, at least he's gone out with a brilliant performance. The bloke was high on adrenaline and loads of people talk a load of bollocks when it kicks in. So as far as I'm concerned, I absolutely refuse to be negative about anything today and I'm going to enjoy being a Stokie who has just seen his side win a great game in the last minute. It reminded me of the winner against Villa when we first got promoted to The Prem. There's no worse feeling than losing in the last minute, but there's no better feeling doing the opposite, especially given the shit we've had to through over recent years. So I'm one happy Stokie and I'll leave all the negativity to those who want to be that way. OS. I wish I could like this post more than once!

And in fairness short of sticking one in the top corner himself there’s not much he can do about our pitiful shots to goal ratio once we cross the white line. Should automatically improve without Tom “Row Z” Ince in the line up anyway.....

I know what he's referring to but he's attempting to make it sound like that we battered someone in our previous game, when the reality is, that we didn't even have a single shot on target - I would describe it as being disingenuous (at best). As for him not being responsible for our strikers being poor, he was the one who signed Vokes, Gregory and Hogan.

I have remembered this correctly - didn’t Chic Bates get the boot after the 2-1 away to Bradford and not straight after the 0-7 to Birmingham?

It can be a misleading stat.

How can anyone have any faith in what Jones says, he makes it up as he goes along. Any wonder the players have looked a tad disjointed on the pitch

Breaking sides that play on I break, like Huddersfield did, we look hopeless. Sides that attack we generally make a game of it.

1st point. I have consistently wanted NJ to succeed. I believed he was a younger more modern version of TP (ok tin hat on)
Today's performance and win is an excellent booster for the club and us the supporters. However;
1. Why on Tuesday did we play with a single striker at home against a team struggling as we are? 2. The LB position has been exploited all season and recognised by all. Today he plays the only alternative in Indi (a left footed centre half)
I really can’t fathom at times the thinking behind team selection.
This win would have been the “cherry on the bakewell” if we had just seen a welcome 7 points out of 9 against two mediocre and one poor side at home.
I’m now as lost as many others for what the future holds
