Hopefully he can see that one of the reasons we were better is we had players who could actually cross a ball on the pitch.
Also, the movement, passing and anticipation was much better. There was a reason for this....

Some of the shit you read what people call him...prick, arsehole etc. He’s putting absolutely everything into it and you can tell how much it means to him. He’s shown massive bollocks this week. 1) For walking out in that press conference and 2) For that performance today. He’s got a lot of things wrong, but what we saw today is what a Jones team can be like. It doesn’t make him an “arse hole”. Whatever this work is he keeps banging on about finally clicked today in my opinion. I love you .....Thanks lol

I'm amazed that some people can't cut the bloke some slack. He's just won against the top team (on their patch) with a performance the likes of we haven't seen for donkey's years; we've come from a goal down; scored in the last minute, and sent all those Stokies home who went to the game feeling on top of the world. Besides that he was pretty much out on his arse with his pride in tatters after the Hudersfield game, and even if he does get the sack now, at least he's gone out with a brilliant performance. The bloke was high on adrenaline and loads of people talk a load of bollocks when it kicks in. So as far as I'm concerned, I absolutely refuse to be negative about anything today and I'm going to enjoy being a Stokie who has just seen his side win a great game in the last minute. It reminded me of the winner against Villa when we first got promoted to The Prem. There's no worse feeling than losing in the last minute, but there's no better feeling doing the opposite, especially given the shit we've had to through over recent years. So I'm one happy Stokie and I'll leave all the negativity to those who want to be that way. OS. It’s been so long since we have had a decent win, who on earth would choose to be anything other than delighted? Nice post Mick, I wonder what the record number of likes is?

That interview in full:
Nigel Johnson "You must be delighted with that performance Nathan"
Nathe "Fantastic Nige, It was my team and I was the manager. Fantastic"
Nige "It must be reassuring to know that the board have interviewed 2 people for your job..who've both turned it down"
Nathe "They're fantastic people Nige. The owners have been absolutely fantastic with me"
Nige "So if nobody else wants your job you can keep it?"
Nathe "Thanks Nige. It's my job and I was the manager today. They were my players and I was fantastic"
Nige "Has the medication helped, Nathan?"
Nathe "It has Nige. It's calmed me down"
Nige "Thanks Nathan"
Nathe "My pleasure Nige"

2 back to back 'God willings' and a first ever "Praise The Lord'.
Not only is Nathan back but so is divine intervention.
Go on Nath, prove us all wrong!

I find that very interesting:
Manager Nathan Jones says "a culture of blaming and not really caring" at Stoke City is now "starting to turn"
First time as far as I can remember that anything like this has been directly acknowledged and I hope, fucking hope this is the start of highlighting the rot within the club and we can start having a bit of pride and self belief / worth in the club and as supporters. It's been such a fucking depressing entity to get behind as a supporter for the last 3 years. A constant downer. I just hope this is where we can start to look forward rather than dragging our feet and feeling sorry for ourselves every week.

If we have a first team that do care and support each other and not blame each other when things go wrong we have a fighting chance. The manager is almost irrelevant - providing they encourage that attitude rather than destroy it.

Just watched the prematch interview. Where was the arrogance?? It sounded like a man who had finally got a result he deserved. He looked and sounded like the man he is....passionate and proud...something some "fans" should think about!!!..Ive walked out on 70 mins this season but never doubted he cared just thought he wasnt good enough...today I changed my mind...we beat the leaders..goooaaarrrnnn stoke!!!👍👍👍 It was the after match interview with Nigel Johnson on Radio Stoke. Just listened to the repeat on radio stoke and still cant see/hear where he's arrogant. Sounds like a man sticking up for himself after a week of shit!!!!
