Poor move for him. Would have been good to see him stay there and breaking through their first team.
Maybe a sign fat Frank is off too?

Saw it on sky sports yesterday and wondered if it was Rory’s lad

But can he throw it as far as his dad? 🤔

On the bench tonight for them.
He looks a hell of a prospect.
Wonder if there's any chance we could get him on loan at some point over the next couple of years - maybe not if he's already on the bench at his age!

Good luck to him
His dad is probably the greatest role model in the history of football

Depends doesn’t it. Should already have 20 Championship games under his belt by now. He isn't 18 'til February though! If there's a loan on the cards, wonder whether we'd be helped or hindered by Rory? Would it be too awkward to have his dad here?

He should have been a well used member of the Derby squad last season. Look at Bellingham. It would be just the same route as him. It’d be a good test for him thats for sure. Adds way more pressure which is good.

That second goal of his is proper weird.
It's like he's not arsed to chase the long ball which I found odd but then when he sees the fuck up he's so quick to it.

Depends doesn’t it. Should already have 20 Championship games under his belt by now. He’s 17 years old and is being coached within the best footballing set up in the country. You’re allowed to be wrong, you know. You got the Lampard bit right - cut your losses.

That first one against Mansfield, he was taking the piss.
He's clearly good enough, but he needs to be careful. In the football league he'll be on the receiving end of a few tasty challenges if he carries on like that.
I know i'd have given him a kick 😂

Which is obviusly great but so is playing a lot of football higher up the league and then moving to somewhere like this with that experience under your belt. Obviously this injury crisis they have could mean he breaks through at Man City a year, probably 2 earlier but I'm in the need to playing boat tbh so I don't think I was wrong.

If he's got a hunger and work ethic of his Dad plus the special talent he will do well.

Rory started at Carlisle Utd, think he was raised in Cumbria. ahhh ok I could never quite place the accent, always thought it was Durham area but clearly not. Thanks To the untrained ear (mine) I often find the two oddly interchangable. *
Weird really as they are both rooted in completely opposite sides of the country, whereas you only have to cross the Penines to go from full on Lancs to reet braaad Yorkshire further down.
(No doubt the geography & / or the topography does have a lot to do with it.)
* No doubt Lakeland Potter can fill us in on the finer distinguishing points between the two.

I think the similar dialects were spread by cross-pennine fell walkers!
