The left and greens can’t get there without the FDP and them and the greens do not get on To me having to wait until Christmas for a new government after a vote Where virtually everything you voted for is horse traded about shows that PR is totally the wrong system On what the government will look like it’s far more likely after a few toys are thrown that the centre left centre right and the fdp will join together and so the status quo continues Instead we have a system where the majority of people who voted end up with a government they absolutely don't want...! Their government will reflect the voting and wishes of the electorate more accurately than ours ever does. So it’s perfectly acceptable to have a chancellor for months who nobody voted for

And Merkel remains in power until the new Government is formed.

Their government will reflect the voting and wishes of the electorate more accurately than ours ever does. A system where (in theory) you can have 100% of the seats for just 650 more votes than your nearest rival, where the majority of seats your vote doesn't count as its a foregone conclusion, where even if you do vote some fucker out you you get asked back into the government if you're a mate of the bosses wife (Zac Goldsmith) and where incompetence is preserved because of the system and boundaries is weighted in favour of the hedgemony of the teo main parties. If it were the system in some Central American country or former Soviet Central Asia we'd laugh at it. It's wank. The British electoral system is and always has been designed to make as few votes as possible actually count and thats the way the two main parties like it. Today's problems need consideration collaboration and compromise not everything swept aside on a wave of rhetorical populist guff - it might have suited the days of empires but its completely unsuited to the challenges of the 21st century.

Which should of been today Not after months of horse trading and back room deals That the very people who voted for them didn’t vote for Does a ardent green voter truly want to deal with the pro business FDP

I should imagine that the ardent green voter will be quite happy, as they received 15% of the votes and will therefore have 15% of the seats in the Bundestag (House of Commons). All very fair, I'd say

Even though if they enter government they may well have to ditch some of the popular policies that the % voted for
