My take: Watching the hopeful, vacant, glazed over demeanor's on the BBC last night was the best return I'd seen on my license fee for years. To spin getting your arse royally pumped as a win for collective remain leaning parties is absurd. 35% minimum voted for WTO asap. As a FFP GE Farage would be PM with a massive majority. The whole country (London/Jockville exc) turned light blue and they will hold the biggest number of EuroMP's in Brussels. To dismiss a 6 week old party the right to a bit of credit simply ices the cake of entitled incredulity that so many of plebs can still think for themselves. Watching Thornberry demonstrate her elementary math live on air was a special moment - particularly when the penny dropped that Jeremy had fucked up by not calling remain and that Bollocks to Brexit seemed to work after all. Tories? Boris - is a cunt and a duplicitous one at that but still probably and likely tool to Tory revival but Farage has his number etc.. I honestly can't say I like or trust any of them. Who-ever is PM next has to deliver a PROPER exit by 31.10.19 else Farage will up the game. Corbyn is pointless - Labour are fucked unless they get real with their core base or define what they really stand for. Just repeating "we want a GE" ain't cutting it. Chukka Cuks are gonna suck up to any taker now. Frankly as political jokes they need to survive just to amplify bare faced contempt with reality. Soubery suggesting she's any voice after getting stuffed on her own turf - surely the incentives to defy the obvious can't exceed the humiliation? Greens - fair play. Lot's of $oros here - Farage will open the debate and destroy the argument for tax/levys and legislation which damages our competitiveness v global powers that don't give a shit. Frankly - we do have a big issue with human destruction and abuse of the planet but it's not solved by the current methods imo. A deal (EU) is preferred but not essential. Imo The EU will fold (relative) to our straightforward and sensible demands understanding we're not going back and that a BREXIT vote has won from UKIP smashing the Euro in 2014 thru - 2016 Ref, 2017 GE, 2019 Euro - the message is pretty clear. WE KNOW WHAT WE VOTED FOR. As I see it Farage means business this time, clearly has the backing of big hitters but more importantly the legitimacy by this result to drive the direction of travel - even if it's from the outside. He has the mandate. The LIb/Lab/Con/EU Party know it..they are very worried we might just get our way... Agreed, while we're in a system where profit and growth are king we're doomed.

Why is the EU having a defence mechanism any different that anyone else having one... Why does a trade organisation need an army? I think Guy Verhofstadt should be able to explain this one to you. It's so this trade organisation can expand to the banks of the Volga. For living space? 😜

The more we have an EU Army, foreign policy, domestic policy etc the more control they have. The aim is an United States of Europe. Can’t be right The very most capacity the EU should operate under is to help facilitate trade. Not a damn penny of any country's tax should go towards that, rather it should be a group of MEP's agreeing trade deal breifings to take back to westminster and other parliaments to agree or disagree on and come back with a better deal for everyone. Not this absolute shower we're in now... Fucking Army? What for?? People still don't seem to get what's staring them in the face. It supposed by a trading block, but now we have (undemocratic) lawmakers making law across Europe, flags, no borders, an army, a vast influx of people from barbaric third-world shitholes, restriction from making our own deals, and it costs us billions. All so we get trade from economic world powers such as Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Estonia, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia...

It was said on swedish tv The Brexit Party was the largest of all in Europe on Sunday - and still you've not left. Even our own politicians are amazed.
Over here, two things are in focus:
1) Who will be the new Liberals leader, the party who got 4.1%. The Liberals, the most EU-friendly party of them all. 2) Will Annika Strandhäll be kicked? The SocialDemocrats politician who had the possibility to fire authority people and did so, when she fired the head of our Försäkringskassan (Wealth Insurance Authority), without any reason it seemed, only for "political reasons".

Musik, We've not left yet because we had a spineless Prime Minister who was a Remainer, and who "negotiated" an abysmal "deal" with the EU that didn't deserve to be voted through. We also have a predominantly Remain House of Commons (and House of Lords) who have done everything they can to block everything to do with Brexit and are trying to steer the end game towards us remaining. The latest kick in the teeth for the Leave voters is now that Labour are finally saying they want a second referendum and will campaign to Remain. Hence the rapid rise of the Brexit Party (officially launched 6 weeks ago) as the Leave voters at last have a Party to express their anger at the result of the 2016 referendum still not being implemented, despite the fact we were originally and consistently promised it would be. Almost all of the media are also doing everything they can to criticise and belittle the Brexit Party and it's supporters. Indeed despite winning and getting almost 32% of the EU election vote, and getting 29 MEP's in the EU elections it is still being called a "remainer win" in the UK media.

what are your plans for the economy once we leave the EU, Nigel. What do you think about privatisation in the Health Service? What do you think about hedge funds and city bonuses? How might you fill the gaps in key roles if immigration is curbed? Will you renew Trident? What are your plans for mental Health? What do you feel about our underperforming and exploitative privatised utilities? What's your stance on the gig economy and zero hours contracts? What will you do with Universal credit? What's that Nigel, 'Democracy, Democracy, Demoracy' Oh that explains it all. Thanks Nigel. Right Wing tosspot. He has one policy...... leave the EU. He says that. But he'd like nothing better than for this Brexit saga to drag on for another 10 years, so he can continue to ride the EU gravy train. He only turns up in Strasbourg when they're discussing the latest update on his cushy EU pension that he's happy to keep taking......

Musik - what is your view on the performance of the Green Party in Sweden (Miljöpartiet)? They came 4th behind the Social Democrats, Moderates and Sweden Democrats. With so much media attention given to Greta Thunberg and the fact that Swedes are in some cases leading the way on environmental issues, do you think 11.4% of the vote is a disappointing result for them?

Let's attack the man in an article about not attacking the man. Always seems strange that a party that wants independence and has the word 'Nationalist' in the title is not considered racist or fascist by conventional BBC/Twitter groupthink but a party that wants independence from the EU is considered so. In fact 'nationalism' is called out as a dirty word but it's okay for Crankie and co. Everything is twisted to suit the NPC agenda.

The comments on the video on YouTube are amazingly still up..... They tell you all you need to know what Europeans think of this globalist clown world marxist agenda.... Whatever people think of Orban he seems to have his country's people and culture at heart and doesn't want it diluted and swamped by third work mass immigration leading to higher crime, terrorism and parallel cultures.... I'd vote for someone like him in a heartbeat. Have a look at a map detailing where all Europe's terrorist atrocities have taken place....

The Green Party (Miljöpartiet, MP) had 11.9% finally. For some reason, swedish citizens voting abroad often chose MP. These votes are always counted last. Even if they came in 4th, it was only two parties who diminished more than MP, FeministInitiative and The Liberals. MP decreased 3.85%. But the reason they feel so lucky is the Green Group advanced from 7th to 4th position in the EU parliament.

Big day in the EU as Germany goes to the polls to elect their politicians. As usual the media gets it wrong by saying the German people will be choosing a new Chancellor to replace Merkel. The people will chose which parties to elect but then the politicians will do their wheeling and dealing behind closed doors to find a coalition of parties to rule the country and thereby choose the Chancellor. There a at least 5 potential coalitions depending how the people vote: www.france24.com/en/live-news/20210926-germany-s-colourful-array-of-potential-coalitionsAt least the final winners can claim they have the support of the majority of voters, but some will compromise on their principles in a grab for power as the Lib Democrats did in a coalition with Cameron. Small groups have undue influence keeping the rest in power, like the Unionists did in the May government. We need to improve our electoral system, but we don't want to jump from the frying pan into the fire. I would suggest an incremental approach starting with the House of Lords, make it democratic and give it real power to act as a check on government in the same way that the American senate can "control" the President and for example stop a PM taking the country to war unless it is the will of the people. Outside the EU today the Swiss are holding a referendum on the legalisation of same sex marriage and adoption. The Swiss use referenda a lot, which I do not agree with. Governments are elected to pass legislation such as this and lead the country. Referenda should only be used for major changes in the countries constitution such as joining or leaving the EU, or where the power to legislate is being transfer to or from the electorate.

I think it's nailed on for a coalition with the greens. Apparently it'll be around Christmas before we know how it will all fit together. Will be interesting in the coming years, green agendas inevitably being pushed to the front of EU policy making along with Macron's desire for ever more power within the bloc to be be the new Merkel

The left and greens can’t get there without the FDP and them and the greens do not get on To me having to wait until Christmas for a new government after a vote Where virtually everything you voted for is horse traded about shows that PR is totally the wrong system On what the government will look like it’s far more likely after a few toys are thrown that the centre left centre right and the fdp will join together and so the status quo continues

Their government will reflect the voting and wishes of the electorate more accurately than ours ever does.
