Not sure about the 2nd being his fault but wasn’t he just caught flat footed like everybody else?

He's lost whatever pace he had, looked rate sluggish.

He was poor today, never looked comfortable and didn’t want to take the ball forward.
We probably won’t be signing a RB this window (given other bigger priorities/issues), so what we gonna do.
- Martina, never want to see him again - Tom, feel for the lad, he’s young with decent promise but has had some terrible games. - Bauer, looks like he’s still not fit, poor defensively and even his strength, going forward, doesn’t look like it’s working.
Get Edwards back in, some experience and proper coaching and he might be the answer

Play Edwards, at least he'll learn something, Bauer isn't up to it, he doesn't know where he needs to be, going forward is what he's best at and he ain't that good at that either, get rid, lose the wages and find someone the manager that can work with in the summer.

Not sure about the 2nd being his fault but wasn’t he just caught flat footed like everybody else? Saying it was his fault is harsh but he's meant to be the cover on that side and he was nowhere near.

uk.linkedin.com/in/richard-carter-b130b1150Academy Lead Youth Development Phase Coach Stoke City Football Club July 2011 – December 2017 6 years 6 months Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom Academy Lead YDP Coach U12-U14 (2011-13) U12-U16 (2013-14) U13-U16 (2014-2017). Would be more credible if it didn’t come from a bloke who obviously has an axe to grind

Our full back options are a disgrace considering that we've just spent 10 years in the premier league, as are our centre half and forward options.

Distinctly average, was so reluctant to go forward today. Both him and William's were shite today trying to take it forward on the right side. Seems to be pulled off his man very easily.

I actually agree, our defensive inadequacy isn’t something we have just stumbled into over the las 6 months, it’s been six years of steady decline coupled with neglect, naivety and complete incompetence on all levels

Not sure about the 2nd being his fault but wasn’t he just caught flat footed like everybody else? He was supporting the attack , Stoke were desperately looking for an equaliser, when we gave the ball away far too easily PNE broke away at pace Bauer sprinted back but far too much to do Williams was shaken off the ball and was then too slow to recover Almost worth him taking a red card for the team 🙀,

He was far from being our worst player yesterday. Agenda driven bollocks on here as usual.

Not a problem bud, Richard Carter has an opinion like anyone else has and is welcome to it, unfortunately it’s hard to decipher whether it’s made in good faith or not The bottom line is that he’s an ex employee of the club under the current regime, whom left under something of a cloud from what I believe, so does it make his opinion any less valid than anyone else ? Probably not, but we should probably be careful what we take from his opinions imo !

I said on an earlier post (and my immediate reaction at the match) he should have taken Pearson out and give away a foul and probably take a yellow card.
