I've seen a few posts lately suggesting we need to avoid relegation this season, and while I've written the rest of this campaign off as a free hit for NJ, we're closer to the play-offs (8 pts) than the bottom three (12).
Surely it would take a tailspin of ridiculous proportions and a miraculous sequence of results by Rotherham, Bolton and/or Reading to put us in any trouble?

A hammering against Leeds and the crowd will grow frustrated very quickly.

I would put nothing past the group of entitled shithouses we've got playing for us at the moment. Make no mistake Brentford are an exceptionally average team and we've made them look like world beaters twice in five months.
We have nothing about us and nothing going for us and its hard to see where the next victory is coming from. It remains unlikely but its certainly not beyond the realms of possibility with this shower of shit

The team are capable of going down again - don't think Nathan Jones will let it happen though .

I don't think we will get dragged into the relegation battle with home games against the likes of Reading and Rotherham you'd think we'd pick up the wins necessary.

Yes we could.
Doubt we will though. Too many teams that are worse.

If the new manager doesn't click, then yes. At the end of the Rowett era, we were under the same risk.
Performances were dropping.
Next month is absolutely massive.

Quite possible when you look at the up coming fixtures. After watching that yesterday Nathan Jones has one hell of a job & if no backing is forth coming from the board we could be in a mess.

No way we would have gone down under Rowett. I just hope bojan is this saviour that people were hounding Rowett for not using. That's where it started. Bojan hysteria, the bojan that has done fuck all for 3 years.

I think we should try to get a lot of players out now and rebuild for next season. This season is over when talking about promotion anyway.

There is always a possibility. Don't let the players sleepwalk into relegation like we did last time.

Brentford were 19th at the start of play yesterday.
They absolutely murdered us.
Of course we could still go down. Nothing would surprise me with this shower.
Pound for pound, they have to be one of the worst teams we've ever had. They are certainly amongst the least likeable. Not since Brian little's days have I held such complete and utter contempt for a stoke city team.

After yesterday the way the whole team looked disinterested I thought to myself that if the teams below us and in the bottom 3 have more desirable and more fight in them than us then we could well get dragged into it! Does make you worry.

You say that, but surely our current position is down to the number of points we tossed away under Rowett when his game 'management' turned numerous leads into draws? Reading was a prime example. Two points lost through sheer negativity.

GR was setting up to protect this defence, he was resigned to limping through the season I feel because we were a lame duck defensively

We can go down and we will go down if performances do not improve dramatically.
As stated above we are already in a tailspin. We just got tonked by Brentford. How far we have fallen in so short a time, yet we still have fans pretending there isn't a very serious problem.
We can change managers as often as we like, we have very poor players who are not up to the job.

I want to see this manager do with this squad what people were saying Rowett wasn't doing with it.

Well we’ve got 19 games left. The previous 19 games have heralded 27 pts. Probably 15/16 more to stay up.

No we won't go down. We'll recruit a few necessary players and finish mid table whilst we work on the new formation for the rest of the season.

We need less than a point per game. Even I could get this shower of shit motivated enough to do that and I'm a right miserable twat. If we go down then NJ will deserve the boot as well as the entire squad.

People are only just waking up to the condition the squad was in upon relegation.. promotion was always a 2 to 3 year plan for me, I said it many times. Complete Fantasy that that bunch of no hopers, crocks ,oap's & serial habitual losers were going to turn into promotion contenders in 1 season with the injection of some decent championship players. This was a 2 to 3 year job to put right following the 2 to 3 years it took to turn it to a shit show and imo GR had made a decent start
