After not making the bench tonight it seems nothing he can do will gain favour with GR.
His cameo roles this year when we have seen his ability on the ball and the header against Rotherham seem not to impress.
I suppose when your competing with one trick pony Ince and No trick pony McClean he did not stand a chance against that quality.
Farewell Amigo.

The best player in the league by a distance that isn’t even measurable.
Rowett puts Darren Fletcher on the bench ahead of him.
The bloke is a complete penis.

The guy hasn't done anything on the soccer field for years. Sad as it maybe he ain't gonna cut it at this level or any other level

Rowett can go tonight as far as I’m concerned. Get in a manager who is not anti-football

From what he has done after returning from the injury I don't think selling him is the wrong choice. Has hardly impressed at all after that.

If there's one thing Bojan does not need it's fake fans and he has a few of them on here. There's a limit to how much Rowett can suffer as a manager. A heavy home defeat tonight and he will ring the changes again. In fact I think his rationale may well be that a derby game against Derby is not Bojan's fame. So I would not be surprised if Bojan was in the starting line up or at least an early sub at the weekend.

Unfortunately he’s just not that good anymore, he’s not been picked regularly at a number of different clubs recently.

Oh the quality and physicality of Derby will not suit Bojan.
No he never has competed against strong opposition apart from ripping Arsenal, Man City Spurs apart.
Perhaps he may not be Premiership quality but Championship he would take the piss if given a good run in the team not 10 to 20 minutes every other game.

Bojan came on last Saturday 72 minute, winning 2-1. Looked lost, contributed naff all. 78 minute conceded, drew 2-2. No impact, in fact negative impact, can’t defend.
That’s why he probably never made the bench.
And Yes, I know who was at fault for the second goal, he got dropped too.

Good news is, it'll make no difference what-so-ever.
That header aside, he's been bang average as he has been for years.

I love Boj, and when he first hit that run of form here he was great, but he ain't that player anymore and it's not to do with not having a run of games as people keep saying.
He got given a run of games at Mainz and Alves and got dropped, it's not a coincidence.
I'd love for him to be the player he was again, but I very much doubt he ever will be. Either way, the constant clamoring for him to play all the time and kicking off when doesn't has got to stop.

I don't necessarily disagree but the clamouring is magnified by the overwhelming lack of creativity in the squad. There has to be a role for him somewhere at least until we sign some more.

Hence "That header aside". But still, I wouldn't go as far as to say nobody else in the side could have done that.

Ince would do a great job in the number 10 role IMO, he's certainly a creative player. Done it in this league time and time again. We'd be better off getting a pacey right winger in and moving Ince more central than playing Bojan for me.

I don't see that happening though.
