Bojan,Woods and Ince were absolutely superb first half and were a pleasure to watch Totally ran the show I’m not sure what GR means when he says “we need to find a solution to the other side of his game”? Is he suggesting he didn’t work hard enough?

I thought he was pretty good. Sublime control, some great passes but it doesn't help his case when we keep booting it long!

Fantastic link play with Ince first half then second half application dropped and he stopped making those runs to support people. So quite correctly substituted.

It would have made him one for the night, but I'm glad you didn't whisper your tactical genius ideas into GR's ear. Please refrain from doing so in the future as well... Just to clear this up, your point is that Bojan isn't a 10 because he's played in other positions? Bojan is a ten among other positions. He's versatile. It probably works against him, as some managers find it hard to pin down what his best position is. So we had him playing deeper tonight. That's not his best position, but he did what was asked of him.

Bojan,Woods and Ince were absolutely superb first half and were a pleasure to watch Totally ran the show Agree,100% Woods and Ince will be fixtures in the team this season and rightly so. Hope the manager rates Bojan the same,(but I have my doubts) because he offers us something different and is a superb player. He would be one of the first names on the team sheet for every other club in the Championship.

Anyone else find the line "He's a fan favourite " quite condescending? Radio Stoke said it several times. Signal said it a number of times. Mark Sale said it.
We're not morons guys. Fans have been singing his name for 2 years when he was out of the country.

I think Rowett has a point about defensive effort. He’s never gonna be Claude makelele but he needs to at least try to cover and tackle back as his duty.
He used to duck out of tackles but he does look more up for the physical side of the game these last few weeks.
Bojan is getting some confidence and Rowett needs to nurture that now. Let’s see how he handles the little maestro over the coming weeks

Definitely trying. He clearly wants to do what is required to get into this side!

Sadly he will be dropped for McClean, just hope it doesn't lower the confidence he seems to have regained. I like having him and Ince in the side.We have to win a lot of games if we are to get anywhere near the top 6, these two are key to achieving that.

Most people knew what his best position was when he was 17 and in the following years. Some therefore think it's the one and only position he plays for then, now, and in time to be. That's sort of narrowmindedness is just too bad, because it stops from seeing he could be so much more for us than just one position.

If anything I thought Bojan was a bit too deep at times, especially inn the second half before he went off. Allen was more advanced most of the time. Strange. For the opening 35 minutes he was sublime and a class above everyone else on the pitch Who? Bojan or Allen?

He has now bowed to the pressure but I'm sure he'll drop him for the slightest excuse, and I will never slate him for putting Bojan in the team. I note he substituted him.

It was the right decision to take off Bojan last night. He faded massively second half and was having little influence on the game.

Bojan obviously They couldn't get near him and he fooled his opposite number before he even took a touch of the ball at times. He was a joy to watch for 35 minutes.

We stopped getting him the ball. He was still taking up the same spaces but we seemed to go longer and longer the more the game wore on and seemed nervous to make those passes into the spaces in which Bojan was operating. It is arguably the reason why Woods had his least effective game as he too got suckered into going long far too early.

I think he was getting knackered and couldn't help out as much defensively as he was in the first half. There was an occasion where he let his man go through into the box when Ince and Martina had been beaten so I wasn't surprised to see him taken off shortly afterwards. Played his part in the game though otherwise.

Bojan did not 'fade' he was still making himself available at eevry opportunity. It was not working because Bolton had stepped up the pressure and we had gone into our usual panic mode and started booting balls all over the shop. It was probably right to take him off as we were never going to get back into our first half rhythm and needed a change of tactic, but it was nowt to do with Bojans effort or application. I personally wanted to see the Crouch for Afobe sub first as getting the ball to stick up top was the main problem.

He's been in charge for what, 12 games. I'd say if we'd had him for 2 years and he constantly over-looked multiple flair players then it would be obvious he was stuck in his ways.. but until then its just an opinion isn't it.

New manager, new players, and we still resort to long ball. Even when Crouch is out on the bench.
