If we let our only real creative number 10 go we're maniacs.
Then again, we've done it for the last 2 seasons...

May as well let him go if GR's just going to stick him out wide.

FFS
the only player who has consistently looked like creating something out of nothing in pre-season and the limited time he's had this season.
letting him go (again) would be detrimental to the teams, the fans and general spirit of the place.
we need him.

Is he going to take a huge paycut? Bojan Krkic wants to play the Champions League. The forward trained in the Masia wants to leave the Stoke and is negotiating his exit to the Red Star, club where his father played years ago. The Belgrade club qualified a few days ago for the group stage of the highest European competition. In the draw played this Thursday was in Group C with Naples, PSG and Liverpool. It is a very complicated group and a priori the Red Star has nothing to do. However, in these last hours of the market he is trying to improve his team. One of the pieces you are looking for is the center forward. Therefore, a few days ago they contacted Wasserman, the company that represents Krkic to know the status of their situation. The response was favorable and now it is necessary to negotiate with the Stoke. The Stoke is playing the Championship League, the English second division, after descending last season. The English would accept a cession of the young striker and in these hours is negotiating the terms of the operation. If everything goes as expected, Bojan Krkic will be in the Champions League 18-19 defending the shirt of Red Star.

Sounds like it'd be a loan - but the article indicates we're open to it.
Which sound odd

Are we going for a hat trick of frees to the biggest club in their respective countries that are in the Champions League?

Ticks some boxes for him then, Champions League football, his dad's old club.
However as I said is he going to take a huge paycut, really?
Unless it's a loan with Stoke still paying a (large) percentage of his wages have to be sceptical

Don't know why we'd agree to that unless he's really, really, really pushing for it (which he may well be?)

It's bad enough if we let him go. Even worse if we then don't bring someone else in, what with Choupo buggering off to sit on a Parisian plank.

I’m not surprised, he can’t be happy being on the bench for a championship side and I really can’t see where he would figure right now, he is a genuine number 10 but I just don’t think Rowettdeems him physical enough

He’s done absolutely nothing during his last 2 loans, the sad truth is that he’s just not that good these days. I agree he’s not what he was but he gives us options. So that’s potentially Geoff Badou Imbula Choupa Bojan Out. You’d think that would free up some space for one wideman in.

If Rowett sanctions this he is a mad man. It shows a complete disconnect from the fans and from a personal position it would make him very vulnerable.
The supporters do not know better than the manage but it doesn't take an expert to see he is head and shoulders above most in this league from the few glimpses we have seen. He will be a huge asset in a 46 game season.

Very disappointing if accurate
Rowett is probably looking at the bigger picture here re replacing him at some point.
As mentioned above, there has to be a replacement lined up
Unlike Choupo, Bojan is a fans favourite and no doubt we will be singing his name for a few months yet - Gary has to keep the fans onside here
We may become "less attractive " to foreign players wanting to play in England although the "home grown " player situation needs to be monitored carefully

letting him go (again) would be detrimental to the teams, the fans and general spirit of the place. and to him and the promise that he was going to get a chance to play for us. And to GR's chance of becoming a popular manager, as Bojan, coming on a sub Tuesday, received more applause than Berahino did when he was subbed a short while later.

Red Star v PSG v Liverpool in the same group in the Champions League, Bojan v Choupo v Shaq, it's written in the bloody stars. Arnie will be speaking with his agent brother to see how the heck he ended up at frickin' West Ham, he was the best of the lot

Not a cool move for us at all. I thought Bojan had a good game against Brentford and also a decent little cameo at Leeds. I was hoping his talents would be utilised this season.

Unless it's a loan with Stoke still paying a (large) percentage of his wages have to be sceptical That's what one comes to expect from Stoke now, and the clubs out there knows that.
