Here's a controversial theory: Allen goes back to Swansea and we get Clucas and a few quid extra?

Here's a controversial theory: Allen goes back to Swansea and we get Clucas and a few quid extra? We've just given him a new contract, he isn't going anywhere. We just need to start using him in the right way, works for Wales.

I don't think they could afford the extra they'd need to bring Joe in if Clucas can go for £8 million. I'd have Arter in no problem though, the little git.

We’re crying out for someone who can collect the ball from the back and create play. Sam Clucas Just is not that player. In fact I’m not sure he’s much good at anything? Really hope we get Arter over him

They were a below average team who did well in a tournament. And he was a key part of their success (classing semi finals as a success), all of my Welsh friends consider him to be just as important as Ramsey for the national team. He obviously isn't a box to box midfielder, needs to be used differently.

Why do Swansea want rid of Clucas? www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/sam-clucas-set-undergo-burnley-14986639His exit will hopefully clear the way for Swansea to finally wrap up a move for Brentford’s Ryan Woods following elongated talks between the two clubs over a £6million transfer.
......he struggled for game time under Paul Clement, who openly-admitted he was unsure of where Clucas would fit into his side.
He saw more action under Carlos Carvalhal but, aside from his two-goal showing in the win over Arsenal, rarely found form. There were also concerns about his attitude in some quarters, meaning Swansea and new manager Graham Potter have been more than prepared to move him on.

hmmmm Clucas not fitting into the side so they're going to use the money from selling him to buy and out and out holding mid... We're not going to end up with 4 of the same player are we?
