I was certainly thinking £5m-£6m is snap-your-hands-off territory

We need him gone at whatever price. Wages gone.

Not worth 5m so that 15m valuation is bullshit. His finishing is one of the main reasons we're in this fucking mess.

Would sell him for 8 million. Seriously? £12m seems to be about the benchmark for a Prem striker; anything around that then I think we should accept, especially if we see him as a bit-part player. It looks like Afobe, Bojan, Crouch and maybe even Berahino are ahead of him in the pecking order here.

I'd genuinely accept 6 - and I've actually got some affection for him!

If true (and unlikely as it's in the Sun) to not take £5m for him would be crazy

If there's any truth in this at all we have to sell him.

It's not only the 8 million we'd get but we'd also saved his wages.

I think somewhere around £10m (hopefully a bit higher) is about right considering your pretty rank average strikers are going for around £12-15m in the Prem. If they see him as a Musa replacement, paying around two-thirds of what they sold him for would be about right. I get what you mean about the numbers, it just seems ridiculous, but the market at the top level is mental (as we all know).

In fact just do a straight swap, Diouf for Amartey.

Frustrating as he's one that could do a job for us over the course of this season, however, I don't see much demand for a lot of the others.

He’s worth about 10m.
A swap for Amartey would work though.

Any team selling to a PL team should be looking at £10,000,000 plus. That's the market.

But I think there's a Premier League premium tbh; and we all know about the 'end of the window tax' where paying over the odds is standard!

The price - you've got to take Beharinho too (like us with Crouch and Palacious)
Its like one of those horror/fantasy stories where someone gets given eternal life but is then in the throws of the devil.

Anything can happen but if the bid is anything over £5m and we’ve refused then we’ve seriously shot ourselves in the foot. Those wages could have gone towards a striker that’s actually useful.
