Great News! I was sad that Rory ended up at Derby rather than Stoke when he retired from playing - but as he lived there I understood the logic. But it will be great to have him back and it is a short commute which he has done many times before.
I wonder if he will be coaching the Academy, the development squad or will have a position with the senior team?

It's all very romantic but the question is, is he a good coach? That is an important question however it's also important that certain standards of behaviour are set and Rory absolutely ticks that box. |

I'm surprised that he hasn't found a role for him under some other guise - I think he was a first team coach for him at Burton? It sounds like we're going for a more slimline approach to the backroom staff now that Hughes and his fifty coaches have gone. They must have been taking out a fortune in wages. |
