I can cope with relegation but I can’t cope with the fact he seems hell bent on taking away any hope we may harbour that we can make a fist of next season.
His uncompromising attitudes must be met with a suitable response and it’s now up to us to show him that we won’t take his bullshit lying down.
He HAD our respect and appreciation for all that he has done for our football club but this signals a new era of contempt for the supporters and we have to make our feelings known. Thank you for everything Peter but it’s time to sell the club to someone who actually has a modicum of ambition - your time is up.

Sturridge and ings 2 of the most injury prone strikers over the last 5 years. State of this club Doesn't that sum us up though? That's the depth of our scouting, 2 guys who've had barely kicked a ball in anger. The best part is when some other mug of a club took one of them on loan, we still wasted time trying to chase the other even though Liverpool were never going to loan him due to having no other back up. They then probably had an expensive out of office meeting to discuss how it went wrong. Fucking arse holes the lot of them.

The atmosphere at home games could become toxic very quickly.
There was considerable anger on Sunday. The mood isn’t going to improve any time soon.

Yeah I agree. He's saying that process works fine. IE Cartwright makes suggestions to the manager and also he tries to get players in that the manager has identified specifically but that the JUDGEMENT is ultimately on the shoulders of the manager, it is HE who has the final say. He's blaming Hughes for the spectacular failures in the transfer market. This is why Cartwright has been able to come out and say he was against the signing of Wimmer. Could it be the old git is actually telling the truth for once unusual for a socialist I know. Well he makes himself look a bit of a fool either way. He's either telling porkies, or, if he's telling the truth, then why did he keep him on last summer when he'd just watched him waste a ton of money on Bojan, Imbula and Berahino?

This is why I held fire on the early bird offer.
Oh well, looks like Macc Town have got another fan for next season. Only 20 minutes on the train and plenty of decent pubs.

We must have sold a decent number of early birds otherwise he wouldn't be saying things like this.
They certainly won't be selling many more.

It makes absolutely no sense that we were in for Sturridge in the first place given his injury record but to have Ings as the back up option was just mental.
But of course, there’s nothing wrong with the ‘process’.

Well that’s OK. We now know it was about judgement and our poor signings have been down solely to Mark Hughes. Thank goodness supporters concerns have now been answered.
Relax!! Thankfully the transfer process (no mention of transfer policy) is fine and dandy
I wonder at what stage Mark Hughes’s transfer judgement was questioned, was the QPR fiasco considered, was it after signing 33 players which included Imbula, Berahino, Wimmer, Bony, Jese etc.
Sorry PC I don’t wear a flat cap, nor walk a whippet. Don’t insult my intelligence by such comment

It's like Chinese water torture except instead of drops of water on your forehead you have to listen to one moron repeatedly say "we played well but were unlucky" and another moron repeatedly say "we tried really hard to bring in a striker".

This statement explains the last two years. They all think they're doing a great job and the way the club is run is fine. I had the feeling Hughes saw this club as an old boys club and he was happy as a pig in shit to do the minimum he had to. He even said he only thinks about football when he comes to work and doesn't take it home with him or something like that. He probably looked at the management and thought 'fuck it'. Of course he shouldn't be like that and act in a professional manner but it's hard to go against the culture of a company.
He had his three 9th place finishes in the bank so knew he'd got his contract here and then would have credit in the bank so he could find a new employer. Was it Bowen who alluded to the fact things weren't quite right.
It's all so fucking depressing.

Oh dear. Seems to be a little bit of wriggle room though I notice he waited until after the early bird to come out with this shite. Even if we had both how many games would Ings and Sturridge combined have played since Jan 1st? FFS if that is a reflection of a working process we are totally doomed. Any idiot can see they weren't the answer. I give up I really do despair !!

Coates has just gone and made it all 10 times worse, whatever chance he had of the fans holding off until next season and waiting to see what happens has just disappeared completely.
